illegal to play wednesday and thursday

i could understand the crew missing this call if it is a closer call, but the guy is 13 or 14 feet (the dirt at home plate is 26 to 28 feet in diameter) from home plate when the tag was made, allowing time for the heads of the umpires to turn and see the guy is just arriving. 

 

does huffman play a tune up game friday or saturday?

Monday was the night before a test.  So that was not a good night to play. 

Tuesday was not the night before a test, so that would have been a good night to play. 

Wednesday was the night before a test, so again, that's not supposed to be a game night.

 

 

PNG just looked like the better prepared team to me.

Just an observation. I did not recognize the coach of the Cubs as being the one from year's past.

I am referring to his 2009 extramarital affair with a female student trainer while he was an assistant at the University of Texas. It led to a forced resignation.  This probably does not bother most, as the morals in our nation decline, but it bothers me.  And I bet it bothered his wife.  I think his hiring is a Major mistake.  Just my opinion, which I realize is irrelevant.

Why hire a guy that has proven he makes bad decisions. Someone above called Kiffin a weasel? Why hire a guy that has demonstrated he has loyalty issues.  One school let him go due to this, yet we promote.   

 

Good win for the cougars.  Visited with the opposing brass/fans some last night.  The natives are getting restless over there at 0-4.

Where are lcm and Caldwell playing?  Anywhere near the Crosby area?  I know folks on both sides of that one.

Montgomery is better team. The better team does not always win. Montgomery bears in three games is my guess.

I think Legacy had put out some feelers to hire some left handed pitchers to throw batting practice.  If those lefties were from local uil schools, that would have been illegal for the lefty that took the money as well. I hope that did not occur.

The Denny kid is the real deal! A 2014 draft, I think.

I think we have great chance to win this series if we play good defense.  We are hitting the ball well right now.  We will have to be smarter on offense.  If we get thrown out stealing third when we were already in scoring position and things like that we will get beat.  If we continue to bunt our three and four hole hitters we will most likely get beat.  Just need some better decision making to have a chance.

Rooting for Lee, but think PNG might be a little too tough for em'.
