Anthony Chambers played a qb/wr at liberty. Went on to start at purdue and play for the austin wranglers on the arena football league
-
Shepard and Splendora are still nowhere near liberty. Jones, Mosley, Tebow, and Antoine, and Standish will easily beat them.
-
I will beat anything liberty willl beat splendora. And i did not predict playoffs last season, i was not a poster on setx at the time.
-
There are lots of very good players on this team! And 3-7 at best??? Liberty will easily beat Tarkington, Shepard, and Splendora. There's 3 then u have Buna Fannet and Clevland. Games which Liberty should be favored. Im not saying we will be great, but saying 1-3 wins is a joke.

There are many different possible options/combinations to replace not only Melton but 4 o-lineman. No one really knows how the line will look. Vaught played the h-back position last season. I don't really see another player who can replace Jake. I think that position will be turned into another outside reciever or rb.

Any update on the search?

-

-
Anyone in the liberty area found one?
-
You also forget liberty had 11 players injured in the clevland game
-
From what i have heard and seen the liberty player and coaches are ralling around the new qb. He spent an extra hour after workouts throwing to his recievers.

HM. 1st or 2nd team, at the end of the day the college programs could care less. They don't care what you did in high school. They look at speed, size, and strength. And at the end of the day if they think you can play they will offer.
-
It's time for the liberty fans and players to focus on the team we have. Some things can't be controlled. Build your team around players who are COMMITTED to being panthers!
-
Get your facts straight he was the asst principal at the HS, He is going to Calvary HS, and yes Fitz was a great qb but all the talented skill positions are there, with a above ageverage qb.
-
i meant 4.8 and Jake Vaught has graduated and is going to play at Trinity. His talent will be missed, but in no means shall it be the demise of the panthers.
-
Hudson doesn't have quite the arm of Fitz but not far off. He is 6-2 runs a 4.8 forty. He quarterbacked St. Pius jv team last year, and played some wr for their varsity. Hard working kid with a great football iq. Now will he put up the same numbers as fitz prolly not, but he will make his fair share of great plays, and do a great job of leading the offense. He threw 9 TD passes against Atascosita in a 7 on 7 game last week.

always look foward to reading these. almost as exciting as picking up my annual DCTF magazine!
-
Coldspring will be very good, and once again take the district title, but they lost alot of talent it will be hard for them to make as deep a run. I hope they do. Just i think it will be very tough.
-
Liberty's offense will be explosive this season. If Bellard can boost the D, Liberty will always score enough to win.
-
Hearing this kid has a chance to rise all the way to 5 star recruit!
-
i dont see why a grown man would call out a 17 year old kid. He will play at the division 1 level, and why would you root against a kid getting his college paid for???
