It is VERY minor...He will have to attend the C.O.P.E. meeting this summer during the THSCA convention. Other than being bored to death in the meeting, thats the extent of it! This is not something that Coach Joubert does regularly, so, I am certain its just an isolated incident.  No big deal.

I think Luke Jackson (Westbrook) was nominated in 91, and so was Kelvin McKyer in 91 (PA Lincoln). I would venture to say that J'Covan Brown (Memorial) WOULD have too, had he finished his senior season.

To make a long story short, I asked a THIRD party to do me a favor, and apparently it wasn't authentic...MY FAULT...I will take responsibility and make it right.

Rose would be the FOURTH possible nod to make the final 24, after Claire, IMO....guards are a dime a dozen in all star games like this one, but true bigs are a definite rarity...LJ Rose IS the real deal though, and is going to be a really good collegiate player.

Based on body of work, I think only Sulaimon (Strake Jesuit) will make that final 24 from the Houston area.  Plus he is a Duke signee, which almost GUARANTEES the nod! POSSIBLY Cameron Riddley (FB Bush) as well. POSSIBLY. He is a 6'11" kid with tremendous upside, and has had a decent season to date.

Not really surprised, Coach English has done a fantastic job over there...Those kids have bought in to his system and are really on a roll, and have been very dominant in that district.  Coach English has risen to the elite level in the SE Texas coaching fraternity.

Wondering if the SETX Sports bloggers would have room for and "old friend" to return as a new and improved message board member with many good things to bring to the hoops board? Sooo, will you guys have me back? Much nicer, Dickie V? Humbled, without the ego? Mr. Sanchez, I would like to publically apologize for stirring the pot for all those years.  Would like to make amends, and contribute to this site, and if its ok, I would like to contribute finacially as well.  This site is great for the SE Texas community, and I would like to make a real contribution this time around.  Looking forward to talking hoops again.
