Nederland plays GCM on Friday in Anahuac at 6:30 to decide 2nd place.

Nederland 3-0 over Ozen

Nederland holds a tie breaker over PNG but split with GCM.  If GCM is tied with Nederland then there will either be a coin flip or a playoff game for 2nd.

Nederland over Vidor 3-0

It all started when Faircloth went for on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal. That gave the Nederland the mometum in the game. So in reality PNG screwed themselves bad with that one.

You all act like he would have made a 38 yd field goal! He's had trouble with making it from inside the 30!

Anyone know anything about Baytown Lee or Goose Creek? How did they do this past year?

I will say this and I've said this @work to native Ned grads.  Neumann doesn't help those kids so how do you expect them to help those who transfer in.  If I had a kid in South County, the last place I'd send my kid to play is Nederland.....

I have to differ with you on that. He introduced my son to several coaches when they came to the school. I don't know what you think, but Coach Stoker works very hard on helping many of the seniors get recruited. If you have been involved with college recruiting, you will know that it really comes down to the parents and player to do the job!

Every schedule I've looked at has JV at 5 and varsity at 7.

Central does have a very good JV. Not sure why PNG is not playing them.

I don't see PNG scoring 3 goals on Nederland. They haven't given up more than 2 goals yet in district. I think it's a 1-0, 2-1 game at best. Hard to say who comes out on top, though. I think Nederland 1-0 if I have to choose.

Liberty beats Nederland 2-1 for the championship

I don't think HF was 3-0. They split with Nederland if anything. But overall, they did look pretty good.
