I got my copy of FNF and a few things confused me. They said Kirbyville lost Justin Artis but has Wesley Smith returning (both from Anahuac). Also Glenn Roberts will be returning for East Chambers having rushed for 1000 yards last year. :o I think I would have remembered a Glenn Roberts duo last year. I guess when you cover all teams in Texas its ok to get mixed up a little bit.There was another thread going but it got lost in the crash. How does everyone else see this district playing out? 1. Newton 2. Kirbyville / East Chambers 4. Anahuac / Kountze / Woodville 7. Warren 8. Hardin

I think Teague will win their district, so if the Lions and Eagles were to meet up again it will be deeper than the second round.

Newton is the visitors from what I was told.

I'm glad that games go to overtime these days. I would much rather the game be decided by the score, not by stats. That footage was tough to watch. Newton definitely had the momentum late, down 21-0 at one point, but I think that Yoe could have scored at the end had the coach let them. Man what a matchup, two great programs with the history to go with it!!!

Last 3 games, Newton has had a very large crowd. I know many aren't from Newton, just there to support or see a good team but a lot of people were wearing purple!
