nobody is blaming the loss on the officiating or making excuses. they made a thread to talk about calls, and at the end of the thread THEY ALL SAY it wouldnt have made a difference in the game. and they also say they got outcoached and OUTPLAYED so bringing png into this when they admitted they got there butts kicked!

he over 230 he put on major weight but is very good

LCM's offensive line will not be able to take PNG's defensive front and linebackers so the run wont be affective at all.
PNG's offensive attack will be way too much for the bears after halftime and PNG will open it up around the mid of 3rd quarter

KICK WAS BLOCKED BY MCLIN #51

the first pep rally was actually last friday night before memorial
this will be the second. wondering if anybody got any tape from it??

im from png and ill tell yall how we were last week cause we were in the same boat...our defense couldnt stop jasper and our offense was horrible...but it looked like the coaches made major adjustments in the weeks time and we are looking really good now...PAM give yall some time because that was only yalls first scrimmage yall have a great team...
-
Just a scrimmage...anyone who was there think it was seriously bad or they just need more time?
i mean it wasnt bad...the defense was missing 3 to 4 key players that are starting.
-
LB kerr gone out of town...DE/TE spikes out with shoulder...quick guard hightower out with head ingury...and DT patin out with knee..

I remember several years ago a Jasper group under Danny Lauve go to Mid County and get crushed in a scrimmage...End result? They lost to Burnet in the 3A state championship.
Scrimmages=controlled practices.
very good point you mention..............but being the dawg4life that i am (jasper dawg that is) just a f.y.i for future reference the DAWGS lost to Burnet in the state semi's 2002 and 2003 before finally playing Gilmer in 2004 for the state champ.
by the way the crushing was returned today to mid county via the 5-1 victory over png played at the BoneYard.
hahaha ill admit that. yall didnt crush us but we got beat pretty bad. just couldnt wrap up and finish the tackle was our main problem. still need to fix many things. move a couple of players around and what not. but overall i think we'll be pretty good this year from what i saw. heard we had some key players out dud to injuries but will be back soon.
--just from what i saw last night i wouldnt be surprised if jasper went deep into the playoffs and maybe made a state run at the title.. they have a very good team and they swarm to the football

how about lets wait and see how everyone does in pre-season then we make this prediction because we dont even know how each team is playing this year...only 2 weeks till we find out....i'm ready for those lights

Columbia Blue and Red is just special. Purple and White looks like something off of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." It does suit the Indianettes well though. Maybe that is who they had in mind when they designed there color scheme.
"queer eye for the straight guy"
but why does it always be between png and lumberton?? or png and some body else? always involves us or ned...
-
PNG will have a down year in 2008.
yeah and dont you people say this every year? and look what happens we find a way to be in the top half of the district. it happens every year all it is to us is motivation.
-
png is at 8 to 10 then i think 4-7 or 5-7 in the evening...starts monday. first full pad day is friday
-
i think you guys might of had the best d-ends in the district..........
png d-line was mean last yrI hate to admit it but I'll have to agree with SFA :-\ :-\ :-\ I think Ozen and Central. PNG is going to be young and inexperienced so I guess we'll find out what we'll have after the first game or two. One thing I think were going to lack is a big hitter, someone who'll make you think twice about coming across the middle. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong.
;D ;D ;D
Yeah but only returning 1 defensive starter from last year.
ill second you on that. have shetley and spikes on the ends...their both animals. then we have savant and mclin on the tackles...i think we will stop the run and control the line of scrimmage again like last year...just my opinion

The seating capacity is only 3000 that leaves them with about a third of the seating available at other stadiums in 20-4A . Now taking into mind that most of their seating is on the home side you better get their early if you want a seat or a parking spot. The visitors side bleachers may go up fifteen rows , if that .
then they better start building something for the indians fans. they are always packing the visitor side.
-
has to be png at barbers hill. see how tough png after this game.
-
ill bet my bottom dollar on it...that png will score ALOT of points with there run game. they have the whole offensive line last year that was very aggressive with the run game which helps them and has two very very quick and fast backs that will get behind them and run. the thing that worries people on the defensive side of the ball is stopping the opponents passing game. our opponents will stop the run game but stopping the passing game is going to be the question. just my opinion!
png or nederland wins district but i dont know how livingston is.
-
congrats to them. sorry i actually didnt see them. thats why i didnt recognize them!
-
three players harrison tatum, jerin spikes, both from png and stefan hueber, from nederland, are on his names to know. Talk about what these young men have to to earn this~
-
I think the concern is a little true. The Indians should be OK and move on but its fair to say the offense could have done better. Even Coach Stone said that in the article
its probably because everytime this year the indians have jumped out ahead they get alot of runs then ease out the game i guess until they need more??? i dont know but thats what it looked like and has been all year they'll be ready to stroke again and have better base running that will put more runs up

man has it started yet ha im anxious about this one

Wasn't trying to be a smartxxx, I read your post again and I was just interested in what you really thought. You said most won't accept it. Just wondering if you accept the fact that if you don't make a bunch of errors as you correctly stated, most great teams can overcome some calls if they are the best team. Making errors is the same as not hitting. PNG didn't hit well against Nederland, wasn't at the game but sounds like they didn't play good defense against Vidor. Just sounds better for you if you either accept a loss or don't because of some bad calls. If you got hosed on some calls, come out and say it and stick by it and then tell Vidor they got away with one. Don't say, we lost because we made errors and not give Vidor credit for beating you. That's all I'm saying. Bad calls are a part of the game.
alright man well sorry didnt mean to flip, but yeah i accepted it and png will have a better defensive game playing for that district championship friday night

play-ball, I'm interested to hear more, was it the ERRORS or a couple of calls that got you beat? Couldn't tell by your post.
actually im pretty sure i said it was errors that cost us the game...i said other people from here will say it was a few calls so before you try to be smart A understand what your talking about
* PN-G vs. Livingston Updates/LIVINGSTON WINS!!!

you cant get better on defense when there on the field all game long cause the offense cant score. defense does a great job but there on the field to long.
