I wasnt at the game I listened to the radio broadcast and it sounded like Liberty had just as many if not more holding penalties than Huffman. Huffman did have some personal foul calls, but I think a lot of them where facemask calls. Idk could be wrong that is just how it sounded on the broadcast.

Honestly the game could have been worse. We shot ourselves in the football a half dozen times with holds, false starts, etc...... Liberty scored once on a busted play, but a very athletic play from the QB to get out of pressure and kinda flip it to #8 or #12 and he went for 60. The Huffman D was on lockdown. This was the first game that they looked fresh on D. They had time to rest with the offense spending so much time on the field. For Liberty D, that dag-gum 65 caught Darion from behind in the first quarter 2-3 times........After that he was gassed! Never saw him again do anything. KUDOS KUDOS KUDOS to the Huffman O line! My word they were good!

Huffman was the better team tonight. That D dont play and NOW the offense is clicking the last two games. WOW! Congrats to Huffman and good luck to Liberty. No need for trash talking...........Huffman did all that on the field.

WOW! Pumped about this evenings game in Liberty. Its going to be one heck of a game. My prediction is Huffman 28 Liberty 14.

Back in the day, I love me some majority black school bands. They know how to play, dance, and are just an extreme delight to watch. I love it!

Darion has not had that many touches. Not sure if he will carry the ball more in district or what. He does run hard and has gr8 vision. Does not take direct hits! He needs to work on his hands out of the back field. Drops too many passes.

BOth sides very quiet last couple of days. LOL........ This is going to be one he$$ of a matchup with some HIGH instenisty football. I honestly wish the luck to both sides. Liberty has done some things at 4-0 and Huffman has improved with a new QB and a nice turnover of players from last season.

Now that is a better response. Yes, Huffman's offense when rolling can be dangerous, but the fact that you are letting out a sigh of relief at the fact that Townley only threw 1 interception is not a good sign. Liberty's Daniel Fitzwater has only thrown 1 interception all year. And it came with 3 seconds left in the 2nd quarter on a bomb ( and from where I was sitting the defender looked out of bounds so it should not have counted) and that game turned out to be a 42-7 victory for the Panthers. The Huffman defense isn't a joke, you are right about that, K Park only started to pull away when they began to air it out, good thing the Panthers have a Quarterback who can do just that. This should be a very good game Friday night.

And I can remember you saying that exact thing at the beginning of the season, but to most of the other Huffman fans, you were all saying Townley was a DOG and he was going to come in and do some major work, and that Gray was going to set it off as well, but look at Fitz and Antoine against the bad teams they put up crazy numbers like they should of, Gray and Townley barely even put up descent numbers against terrible teams.

Their terrible.  I could go into why that exactly is, but no one really cares.  all im going to  say is, that if they can't generate a passing game...They will no make the playoffs.    Summer Creek, Huntsville, and Kpark are going to be fighting for 3rd and 4th place.

To say we have a had a rough couple games (Humble) is an understatement.  But i am confident that the mistake prone offense wills settle down in time for the meat of the schedule.  Humble has lost their two games because we can't seem to avoid putting the rock on the turf, or making silly mental errors....But like i said before the season started, this is a very green offense, a lot of Offensive linemen that didn't play last year...a QB that was playing WR....and a RB who only saw mop up duty.  It will take them a while to gel, but when it happens they are going to be dangerous.  Teams can't generally win or even stay in games close with an average of 6 fumbles a game, and averaging around 7-8 total turnovers a game.  But we have lost to two worthy 5a opponents, and ultimately could of won either of them. 

Humble eliminates the offensive mistakes, and we will roll through district.  We have three tune-up games before going into Huntsville.  i imagine we will get it all worked out by week 7

Not sure it was better coverage or defensive line getting in that butt. Maybe a little bit of both. I am tellin y'all, Huffman D aint no joke. Offense gets it into gear they are going to be tough! Saw a little bit of that Friday night. Looked more crisp and only threw one pick. Went down field, which was nice to see. Cant wait another 6 days for Liberty.

Man give them more credit than that. Buddy of mine was talking about Channelview today. They are money and move the football. Heck every game is away basically with new stadium being built. They are 4real!
