  1. Dude…give it up. If you just want to argue, just say so…
  2. Yes. They were jackals.
  3. Dandy Don Meredith…start singing.
  4. Kind of sadistic, huh.
  5. The headline is disingenuous. She says she won’t treat them in person.
  6. That’s pretty conservative to not be a threat.
  7. Or a barf bag. It’s almost to the point of unzipping and comparing.
  8. And that’s my worry… Red now Blue soon?
  9. Malcolm X expounded on that quote from Goldwater (although Goldwater didn’t originally come up with it): My reason for believing in extremism—intelligently directed extremism, extremism in defense of liberty, extremism in quest of justice—is because I firmly believe in my heart that the day the black man takes an uncompromising step and realizes he’s within his rights, when his own freedom is being jeopardized, to use any means necessary to bring about his own freedom or put a halt to that injustice, I don’t think he’ll be by himself.
  10. That’s true in some cases.
  11. I’m definitely skeptical. Not radical though.
  12. The force is strong with this one…
  13. Just for context: Lumberton beat Brazosport last year…
  14. Hataway got hurt too. Waiting to find out how bad. Koch & Fuselier should return by district. Tell you what though, young Kersh has been catching some balls.
  15. Your sister wasn’t that bad… 😎
  16. Hate to say it, but I like Nederland in this one.
  17. Who knows. Just an FYI, if it’s less than $600, you don’t have to include the 1099 with your tax return, nor will you be required to pay income tax on those earnings.
  18. Who are the 2 skill guys?
  19. How do you think our Raiders will do in district? Hoping for the best, but I fear they haven’t been tested yet.
  20. Was that directed at just sports officiating? The tax law only mandates reporting income of $600 or more. I wonder if these organizations just decided to send a 1099 to everyone to make it easier (see regs below). From the IRS website: “If you pay independent contractors, you may have to file Form 1099-NEC, Nonemployee Compensation, to report payments for services performed for your trade or business. If the following four conditions are met, you must generally report a payment as nonemployee compensation. You made the payment to someone who is not your employee; You made the payment for services in the course of your trade or business (including government agencies and nonprofit organizations); You made the payment to an individual, partnership, estate, or in some cases, a corporation; and You made payments to the payee of at least $600 during the year. Note: Beginning with Tax Year 2020, you must use Form 1099-NEC, Nonemployee Compensation, to report payments of nonemployee compensation (NEC) previously reported in box 7 on Form 1099-MISC. The separate instructions for filers/issuers for Form 1099-NEC are available in the 2020 Instructions for Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC.”
  21. Forgot to mention what a great play by play job you did @Boneyard Boys . Feels like all I missed was the drive home. Thanks.
  22. The guy got moved from guard to center. I agree with the repetition and the extra work, just not the punishment technique. The dude may have never played at that spot before. I don’t have a problem with running laps, just not for the wrong reason.
  23. Abortion is still legal in Texas. It must be performed before a heartbeat is present. Texas simply moved the goal post. Genius move.
