Sounds like BH may be a little thin on the defensive line this week. Heard they had to pull some JV kids up at the tackles. Anyone have the status on #55 and #70?
This is going to be a line backer win or lose game.  They are going to have to contain the power and the speed running duo of GCM.  No doubt they will, but it's going to be a slug fest for sure.
#55 Braden Matthews had a spraigned ankle in the last game but he will be back this week. Don't know about #70. I haven't heard about JV call ups?

I agree on the LB crew.  You'd be hard pressed to find any better ones in the region.  I know all 4 are licking their chops this week ready to make a statement.

Well that's good news about #55...definitely glad to have his services on Friday night.  I don't think the JV kids are permanent call ups but they've had to pull some up at practice because they've been so thin.

I havn't seen BH's LB's, but I'd put ours up against any in the state.

Tim Cole- 4 star recruit committed to Texas.
Troy Green- 3 star recruit committed to Texas A&M.
Jerid Jeter-Gilmon- committed to Texas State.
Jesse Baker- leads the Brenham defense in tackles, and is getting D1 looks.

Impressive resume BrenhamFan.  Baker obviously just needs to go to Texas Tech to complete the the Flush!  ;D

I haven't seen the Cub LBs play yet so I will reserve my opinion until the second round of the playoffs 8) Looks like plenty of other people have seen them play and think very highly of them though!

13-10 in ot! losing i think helps
the kids having  felt defeat other than going
10-0 and losing in the first round, boy
have we seen this happen many times
and your season is over.

Nederland will definitely be battle tested when they roll into the playoffs. No doubt about that. Easily the best team BH has played thus far.

Well, based on the kickers track record, yes.

I know it's hindsight, but it was more than just the Nederland missed FG that has BH where  they are today.

Solid  defense has covered up for some sloppy offense.  Refer again to the Dayton game.

Offense wins games. Defense wins championships. (Add in some luck too.)

All roads in 19-4a lead through BH. Time to  put up a Patriot road block.

Don't you know that out here in the country we drive jacked up 4X4s?  If BH plays like they have for 90% of the season that Patriot roadblock might as well be a speed bump in front of the San Jacinto mall  ;D

If you stop the THUNDER (44) we send in the LIGHTING (33).

Kind of like the Hydra, if you cut off one head, three more will grow back in its place.

#32, #33, #40, and #28 will be supplying plenty of Thunder to those two fellas.  They might need to add some additional chin strap snaps to their helmets for this week....BH LBs will be dropping the hammer Friday night.  ;D ;D
6. First and foremost -
1. Barbers Hill

Secondly, the performances in 2 of your 4 losses -
2. C.E. King
3. LCM

Lastly -
4. Barbers Hill

This is in good fun....but in all seriousness, congrats on a nice win last night.  We're really looking forward to this match up!  We though it was going to be pattycaking the rest of the way through but it looks like we have another decent match-up coming.

Its simple for DAYTON........................Win your last 3 (posible 2-3) and your in. Time to take off thosee tu-tu's we have been wearin since the BH game and play some BRONX football  ;)
I was wondering where the Eagle mascot's tu-tu went!  Yall can have 'it!  ;D

Good luck the rest of the way Broncos.  Someone over there needs to step up and make a statement.  Some locker room leadership and a nasty side on the field seems to be missing since yall left Mont Belvieu.  Swagger and confidence is created in practice and displayed on Friday nights.
