  1. I can think of a few places with obnoxious or ignorant announcers, mispronouncing and even with bad grammar. Never witnessed quite what Lumberton fans are describing in livingston though. I hope shes still there on the 9th when we go to livingston so i can shake my head in disbelief. Terrible announcers would make a great thread
  2. more @#%&@## baseball there too. What a drag. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  3. Is that from Tracy Lawrence? "The only thing that stays the same is everything changes, everything cha-eee-yaaanges..." lol Lumberton ran the wildcat against HF. I think they ran it with that really fast kid running the jet sweep if I remember right. Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr (November 24, 1808 – September 29, 1890) French critic, journalist, and novelist. Frequently quoted, for example "plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose"—"the more it changes, the more it's the same thing", usually translated as "the more things change, the more they stay the same" (Les Guêpes, January 1849). The French were always known for their insight Vous avez raison, camarade.
  4. Time warner digital cable is still listing baseball at 6 > any ideas?
  5. Heard it will be on Fox Sports Southwest live saturday at 6PM but not on our local FS Houston because of baseball > Any way for local digital cable subcribers to get it on another channel or podcast?
  6. This isnt about facts to them, its more like emotion. Regardless, everyone stay safe on these roads and enjoy your games, wherever they may be!
  7. The sideline facing your fans is the best thing, thats what we did after beating Texas City, and that was in Port Neches.
  8. I think we will show him a "little" friday night. Very little for him on the scoreboard.
  9. Every time i follow the Tribe to Vidor they seem to have a big crowd. Halftime show is great, and they play hard no matter what. Its not an easy place to win but the people are great.
  10. Fearless as usual! Im sure im not the only one who looks forward to these choices of yours every week! Great job and thanks again!
  11. I feel silly for just realizing that the bears have not even played a 4A team yet. I guess none of that really matters this friday night. All i have to say to the bears is welcome to classification 4A and welcome to Port Neches on friday night. Be safe coming and going!
  12. I hope all 3 of our 20-4A representatives in the top 40 justify their spots with very convincing wins this friday night, i love seeing us there.
  13. Very true, i believe our district is in the top 5 according to one of the major sites i looked at recently. Its not easy to play schools a classification higher, no matter how good or bad they are. They still have a much larger group to choose from. A 1-1 record against 5A is nothing to be ashamed of.
  14. You can dream, nothing wrong with that Good luck and safety to all of you on your trip to and from Port Neches!
  15. Im sure cleveland isnt a bad team, but they were #37 in 3A going into the LCM game. I guess someone is so desperate to craft a winning streak so they go to the regular season while conveniently ignoring the playoffs. Laughable, just like North Shores "regular season streak". If they had been 16-0 in 08 i would be VERY impressed! But good job on the win Little Cypress, a win is a win no matter what and who can argue with that I look forward to seeing all of you!
  16. Now they have resorted to making things up. This is good guys Friday will be fun.
  17. We will have a lot more than 75 through the air, and also on the ground! Cant wait for this one and hope everyone enjoys the game and we all get through it healthy!
  18. That last score sounds about right. I do not see ozen doing too much against Nederland, especially if QB Smith is back.
