This is going to be aired at 2pm on Fox Sports Houston. If anyone knows of other championships on TV today please let us know, but this is the only one i see.

If the Cubs are young then the future is bright, no matter what happens this year.

It does seem like the officiating this year has been off, but i have seen everyone suffer and not just my side. I could be wrong but it just seems that way, and fans i have talked to from elsewhere in the district and beyond have noticed odd things as well.

Brenham's only advantage based on last year is they will have 1 or 2 true gamebreakers on offense or special teams that can change the game.  PNG's only real weakness or shortcoming that I've seen is no homerun threat.  This is an outsider's observation as to why I and in my opinion you should disagree with BoboandBlair.  Yes they're going to be faster at the skill positions but you will be more skilled and you're >= as good in the trenches.  If Brenham is better than last year and is even with you in the trenches then I give you the victory because of the edge in coaching.  Brenham will be hard hard pressed to beat you! After a few more years in the system, we will have players who have been in the new system for a while and then we will see more of those home run threats emerge.

Im fine with whatever any team wants to call themselves. Its none of my business. Two of the best mascots around here are the Sabine Pass Sharks and the Evadale Rebels in my opinion.

As long as we play on friday night it suits me fine. What BISD does is the business of their taxpayers and theirs alone. I would much rather my large neighbor to the north have good facilities. Hopefully the scheduling remains uniform throughout the season, with the same schools playing on friday and saturday and so forth.

Its going to be a home game for the 19-4A teams but its the only thing close to neutral unless we want to go west. Going to be a lot of fun, i wish there were one game on friday and then the other 3 on saturday for 19 VS 20. Good luck this last week everyone and NO injuries!

I hate seeing these outlandish predictions, they are a total waste of space. With that said i think mistakes will play the biggest role. Could be good old fashioned turnovers, blown coverage or bad special teams. I dont see the difference in score being greater than ten here. As far as comparisons go, yes we are very balanced and hard to stop. I know central has thrown the ball a lot less than we have but that doesnt mean they cannot. Defensively we are no doubt the best in total yards and points scored against us, and honestly its not even close, provided one can interpret the statistics. However what really matters is who plays the best on Friday November 6th 2009. From what i have seen we are big enough, quick enough, strong enough, and intelligent enough to pull this one out. I call this one for my tribe by ten points or less.
