  1. Ok this thread has me laughing hard. This guys tattoo cant be stopped? His hair will flow like a river? WOW! I know nothing about this player, his team, or even the district but this is good stuff!
  2. The cougars had better hope the zebras are on their side. It appears they will need them.
  3. Since there is a bit of pregame competition, what are the all time records, state and district titles for each team, and records against one another?
  4. Good to hear! Best of luck to him, and i hope he enjoys playing in our new stadium.
  5. I must agree, Gilbert is in his own category. Never heard of that other guy.
  6. Frankly it will take success for WB or PAM to get into the elite. Just like us here in Mid County. My Tribe will have to earn it.
  7. Just now getting this news here. Best wishes from Groves, and the fastest, most complete recovery possible. Knee injuries are some of the worst.

  9. We at PN-G and those of the Hill will be fine. First game with a new coach and system for us, and we managed to come out on top. Lot of experience on defense for us from last year, but not as many returners from the O. We have all seen this before. Hats off to our new Chief and everyone else who makes it happen for us on friday nights. I do not see how you at the Hill could miss the playoffs, good luck the rest of the way. May we all have better parking the next time we meet here.
  10. I feel for you. One of my instructors at LIT lost a lot. Things are just now getting back to normal for her. Best wishes to you.
  11. Nice, hopefully ill be home in time! Thanks to whoever did this one.
  12. Could not believe when i heard about it. From Groves, prayers and hope that his family, friends, and all who loved him will find it in them to make it through this.
  13. Have to say, i went last year to our opener at BH and it is a great campus. I believe most of or all of the district schools are on the same very large piece of land. I even had a BH fan give me his spare ticket when i had an unexpected guest. It was a good close game last year, and i look forward to this one. The stadium was a good place to watch a game, and the locals were great, gracious, and seemed genuinely happy to see us. Lets hope for NO injuries friday night! And liltex, you wont have to worry about that eventuality you described Get there early as possible everyone, and enjoy the atmosphere! 1st ID
  14. Its no berry center, but id rather not live anywhere near houston. Ill keep my lil 13,000 capacity setx stadium and my small community. We played Cy Creek at Pridgeon in 2005, and it was a very good game and a close win for us. If 8 share berry, how many darn cy-schools are there? Is pridgeon unused now?

  16. Our first team was 14-0, but after that they showed the power of their depth and started moving the ball very well. I dont see how they can miss the playoffs in their district.
  17. Well i will say this, im glad my Indians dont have to go to Vidor to play the Pirates this year. Many of us in this district will in fact be forced to walk the plank after being physically beaten all night long. Playing them will be tough all year, but especially so at their field. I am also sure the staff at WO-S will be prepared for their season, their coaches have been second to none, and not only the envy of the district, but of the state.
  18. Yes it does and there is the reason for my confusion. So 5 30 in Port Neches then?
  19. The time for this one, from the stickied scrimmage thread, says 6 30pm in Port Neches. I hope this is the final time, because last time i looked it was 7pm. Who is going, and what are your thoughts on tonights scrimmage, going or not? I hope to see some good things out of my home team.
  20. I think i missed the release date of 2009 texas football and cannot find a copy, including at their website. Does anyone know about the issuance of local guides to HS ball including the examiner and when it is expected?
  21. Excellent. I have heard games are at 5,6,and 7. It should be interesting to watch.
