  1. I appreciate it. But the folks you really need to thank are the area coaches. Without their help, it wouldn't be possible.
  2. Searching all of the media and not finding anything. I'll email a source in the morning and see if I can find it.

  4. Thanks to the Coaches of the various programs in SETX, the information on the 2018 season keeps rolling in and the process of putting the team previews together is well underway. We'll begin posting the previews on July 2nd with the most successful of the 2017 programs, the Newton Eagles, as well as the newest program, the United Timberwolves along with the newest Class 4A, DII region III power, the Jasper Bulldogs! It may be the off season for some, but it isn't for us! If your school hasn't been contacted by me or if you need another questionnaire, please pm me or email me at [email protected].
  5. I agree. While the basketball championship certainly puts the Tigers up there, the co-championship in football, making the playoffs in baseball and Kalon Barnes' track titles actually clinches things. My second pick might surprise some....it would be Jasper. The Bulldogs made the state tournament in two different sports (girl's soccer and baseball), along with a football district championship. And Danny, don't worry, as the all-state baseball teams have been announced, this forum is headed back to the top of the board.
  6. Nash has not made any payment for any control and no attempt has been made to silence you. However, if such asinine assertions continue, I can easily make that happen.
  7. Same here on both counts. Actually, I really enjoy the matches that the US are not in as I am not getting irritated with the American play so this might be more enjoyable for me as they will not be in any of the matches.
  8. If it was Obama, he would just draw another one of his imaginary "red lines."
  9. Probably worse than baseball.
  10. In my eyes, it is not.
  11. Michael Florek‏Verified account @michaelflorek 17m17 minutes ago UIL athletic committee says it will revisit homefield advantage in first round of football playoffs for 4A and below next year. Wants to see another year of how 6A and 5A works.
  12. Home field for the bi-district round for 4A-below was turned down by the UIL Legislative Council. They said they will revisit the topic next year.
  13. Grayson is considered All-State due to his selection to the THSBCA All-Star South Squad in the 2A-4A Game. But I, too, was surprised by the lack of Kirbyville players.
  14. Saw this article on Coach Bronk's twitter feed: [Hidden Content]

  18. Coach, it was a pleasure to be able to follow you and the Wildcats to the State Championship. I know how much the near miss last year stung and knew that you and your charges were determined not to let that happen again. Congratulations and good luck on the 2019 repeat!
  19. 2-2 in the Bottom of the 3rd
  20. I think the UIL might find that they have to go to this.....aside from the Jasper example noted in the article, most of the bigger stadiums that schools 4A and smaller use during bi-district are the 6A and 5A stadiums that are going to be tied up by the rule giving 6A and 5A schools homefield advantage during bi-district.
