Had some good ones at WO-S. One of the better ones, Tim Matherne, just graduated last year. Of course, the mid 80's probably brought the best line (Jim Bob Aven, Paul Hebert, Tony Bray, Marvis Brown). Louis Moore was one in the early 80's that got all state honors while WO-S was 5A.

I think I understand what he is talking about. I think he believes that the smaller schools in the area get the short end of the stick respect wise around here. And reb, I'll tell you like I have told other folks on other boards. The best way to get past that is to get on the board and educate us about the Evadales, the Sabine Passes and West Hardins of the world. Get others to post on the site and give these schools exposure.

Joharr, I finally found a schedule for West Hardin that listed all the games. I believe this was a repeat matchup from last year.

I believe that Cleveland faces a bit more talented and much more experienced Hawk team this year. Talented and experienced enough to prevail? No. Talented and experienced enough to make a better game of it this year? Yes.

In making the projections, we all must keep in mind that, unlike her, the UIL realignment committee cannot take an area or region and realign it in a vacuum. As casualobserver pointed out, what happens here affects other regions, and vice versa. So to get a true sense of how the two (or more) 4A districts look next year, you'd have to do a statewide comprehensive realignment with ALL Districts in ALL classes. I think the only ones who have the time and the inclination to do that are those in Austin charged with doing so.....and perhaps WOS87.
