5.
I hate to say it, but I dont see toby staying. I hope I am wrong. He will be next in line for AD at WOS if he would just stick around and let Thompson be his mentor. If he doesnt get the EC job, I see him going to Texas High with Barry Norton in Texarcana. Man I hope im wrong. Toby has a gift to connect with some of these kids that have troubled pasts. But I wish him the best and you should NEVER fault a man for trying to better himself.
I wouldn't close the head coaching door on Coach Foreman for next season, either.  As is usually the case, we haven't seen the last of coaching positions that will open up, both here, in Houston and throughout the state, even after the East Chambers job is filled.  I saw a report that the North Forest ISD is currently looking for a new HC/AD.
 6. Actually, there has been another change at the head coaching position for the West.  The new head coach for the West will be Mike Long of Beaumont Kelly. He will be joined by Kelly assistants Al Rabb and Pat Fischer, as well as Coaches Freddie Strange from Beaumont Ozen, Shane Deel from Liberty, Larry Haynes from Hardin and Michael Broussard from Anahuac.

The game was originally scheduled for 7:00PM. The location is the same (at Central).
Thanks for the heads up!
 8.
Now back on topic.  Wilmer-Hutchins ISD was dissolved into Dallas due to years of financial mismanagement to the point of only 30 percent of their buildings could be used.  I'm sure somebody will fact check me but I'm sure that's what led to their demise....
85, my reading indicates that the closure of the Wilmer-Hutchins ISD was due to both financial mismanagement and chronic "academically unacceptable" ratings given by the TEA to the district, even after TEA monitors were sent.  Although the WOC CISD has not had a recent rating of "academically unacceptable" for the entire district, a number of the schools in the district, including WO-S High, have received that rating in the recent past.  Also, the district has been under fire from the TEA for it's financial condition.  In fact, Superintendent Colbert has stated that he will need to seek a $ 6.075 million bond issue because as he told Gary Stelly, "We haven't done of lot of things we agreed to do in 2007 (for a $ 47.5 million bond issue passed by the voters)."
 9. Congrats, Coach Gilligan!

 14. I have never been a real big fan of the name changing thing, be it member or staff.
 15. It's doubtful that the reasoning behind the suspension will be revealed unless Coach is released by the Marshall ISD....if then.
