Thanks. An update on broadcasts: 1. I heard from KETX 92.3 station owner Ken Luck and our broadcast partner KETX 92.3 FM will be broadcasting the Shepherd/Hardin-Jefferson game on Friday; 2. I have exchanged e-mails with 1600 AM KOGT station owner Gary Stelly and our broadcast partner AM 1600 KOGT will be broadcasting the West Orange-Stark/Tarkington game on Thursday and the Bellville/Orangefield game on Saturday. As to any Friday broadcasts, Gary said he is not 100% sure on what he is doing yet.

Just received a message from Ken Luck at The Eagle, KETX 92.3 FM that they will be broadcasting this game.

Definitely, any loss in the previous 10 weeks could have been overcome. From here on in, you lose and your chance at redemption doesn't come until next August.

It could also be that for every game except the Newton game, I got the final score not from a C-C poster, but from someone looking at DCTF or having to get it off of social media myself. To get interest, you have to show interest.

At this point, I only know that: 1. The Coldspring-Oakhurst/La Marque game on Thursday will be on The Eagle, KETX 92.3 FM and SETXsports.com 2. The Silsbee/Carthage will be on KBED 1450 AM/KIKR 1510 AM and SETXsports.com 3. The Woodville/Anahuac game on Thursday will be on SETXsports.com and KTXJ 102.FM 4. The Newton/Waskom game will be on SETXsports.com and on KTXJ 102.7 FM 5. The Evadale/Timpson game will be on SETXsports.com and possibly on KTXJ 102.7 FM if the Newton/Waskom game gets out of hand As to anything else, I don't know. I exchanged texts with Ken Luck at KETX (92.3 FM and 1440 AM) and he told me that they MAY pick up a second game. As to KOGT, I can only speculate as Gary Stelly has not definitely indicated which games he will broadcast. But my speculation will be that he will do all he can to get all of the 4 Greater Orange teams covered. I think you can put a for sure on WO-S/Tarkington on Thursday and Bellville/Orangefield on Saturday. Friday is the question mark.

I agree. And in the latest policy committee meetings, the UIL tweaked it in 6A where starting next year so that the top 2 schools in the district, regardless of Division, will host the bi-district games. However, I have not head any indication on if or when it will be extended beyond 6A.
