Since my most recent post, I have been advised by a couple of sources, both of whom I find reliable, that Coach Haynes was indeed named new AD/HC by the Hardin ISD board of trustees last night. Congratulations to Coach Haynes, and more importantly, good luck (AGAIN)!

While discussion of hiring of an athletic director was in the executive session portion of the board meeting agenda, I have not seen the minutes from last night's meeting nor do there appear to be any media reports of any hirings by the board last night.
