Don't worry, the idiot decided to get fussy elsewhere and was sent on a well deserved vacation.

Not that you will see this, but your wish to never come here has been granted.

Well, then why do you continue to post on this subpar site? I have just spent 5 days in the hospital and one day of rest away from the site. And this is my welcome back. Well, I tell you what. If you favor smoaky or maxpreps so much over this site, then please feel free to spend ALL of your time there and don't bother darkening the doors of SETXsports.com! We have plenty who enjoy the site, one less knucklehead for me to deal with is no skin off of my back!

The Grad is back in business. I'll spend today trying to catch up the results. We'll see how far I get.

It is a shame that on the same day that the Silsbee Tiger basketball team achieves what, to this point anyway, is the highest point not only the Tiger basketball season, but the SIlsbee athletic school year as well, some person, ironically enough also from Silsbee, chooses to focus on what is probably the lowest. The fact that Silsbee is doing this without Devon McCain is the fault of one person. That person is not Brad Jeffcoat or any member of the LC-M Bears basketball team. That person is not Richard Bain, or Randy Smith or Joe Sigler. That person woke up and saw Devon McCain in the mirror this morning. Any Silsbee player who participated in the actual brawl served but one game and has been back with the team throughout the playoffs. I'll finish this as I just want to wish the Tigers good luck and let them know that all of Southeast Texas, even the folks in North Orange, are behind them. In fact, I want to lend them something. This is a hashtag that worked pretty well for my alma mater the year following a finals loss in 2014: #FINISHIT!!!

I wasn't arguing either. Just trying to make sense of why an AD would be sending out info on matchups the night before they are supposed to (or at least have in past years) be set.
-
It appears that what the Midlothian AD did was assume #1 will play #4 and 2 will play 3. As AAW pointed out, it may work out this way, but we won't KNOW that until sometime later this morning.
-
Nope, it won't be either of those games. According to the TABC records, the following are the records of the Final 4 teams: 1. Argyle: 33-3 (.916) 2. Brazosport: 32-3 (.914) 3. Midlothian Heritage: 32-5 (.864) 4. Silsbee: 31-6 (.837) That means we know that Argyle and Brazosport will be placed on opposite ends of the bracket. So Silsbee will face either Argyle or Brazosport in the semis (depending on the coin flip that occurs tomorrow).

The Silsbee Tigers look to clear the one hurdle remaining between them and the 4A State Tournament in San Antonio as they take on the Yates Lions in this Class 4A, Region III Final. Joe Sigler's Tigers, now 30-6 on the season, have followed a playoff road that included a 105-55 bi-district win over Huntington, a 98-61 area round win over Hardin-Jefferson, a 124-84 regional quarterfinal win over Houston North Forest and a 93-52 regional semifinal win over Waco La Vega. Meanwhile, the Lions, 23-7 on the season, followed a playoff road which included a 109-50 bi-district win over Tarkington, a 116-60 area round win over Diboll, a 92-82 regional quarterfinal win over Huffman Hargrave and a 67-64 regional semifinal win over Waco Connally. The winner of this game will advance to the Class 4A State Championship Tournament in San Antonio next weekend.
