Did LU lose 5 games in a row???  Yes, but you cannot say that Woodard should be fired.  They lost those 5 games to the teams that occupy the #1-#5 spots in conference.  Also took the #2 seed C. Arkansas down to the wire, and had their chances to win that game.  Were they blown out a couple of games?  Yes, but who did not expect that coming into their 1st year in conference in over 20 years. Will LU make some changes in the off season??  If sure they will.  Will they be major ones?  Not likely.  I have all the confidence in the world in Coach Woodard and his staff.  I am looking forward to kicking McNeese's butt on Saturday!!!

What a great game!!!!  ASU was as physical a team as LU might play all year.  I thought that it might have been ASU football team playing tonight!!! :o :o  I was thoroughly impressed with the heart the team played with tonight.  This is a game that LU would have lost last year!!!!  Defensive effort was huge tonight, and LU had 43 rebounds with 18 on the offensive end!!!  The crowd was great tonight especially going up against all of the high school football playoff games!!! Great win for LU and Coach Knight!!!

Dove it was a scrimmage.  Several kids on all teams played that may or may not be part of a regular rotation.  Just good to see kids on the basketball court again......isn't basketball season great!!!!!!

LMAO!!!!! Easy there Dove......Would love to see HJ and Ozen play with both teams at full strength!!!!  Hopefully if both teams make the playoffs ;) ;) we can get the two of them for a warm up game at the Montagne!!!!!

Scrimmage tomorrow at 4:00 at HJ.  Teams involved are HJ, Ozen, Kountze, Shepard and Goodrich. 

I would agree ST413.........are you implying that Nederland does not have any talent?? If so, you are sadly mistaken!!!  They have been very talented for the last 4-5 years!!!

Here is my two cents....take it for it is worth. Bevil was the started at the beginning of the season.  He did not start this past weekend, because he was injured.  Johnson has been the backup, he did not even suit up this weekend.  Prewitt has come in in scrub time or because both Bevil and Johnson have been either injured or playing terrible.  I admit Prewitt played with tons of heart this week, however playing with heart does not necessarily put a W in the column.  If Bevil is healthy he should start, but be on a extremely short leash.  This game is a MUST win for the Cardinals!!!

Also Nederland has tons of fans on here the last few years

Me and Little Lazeek went until halftime and then headed home for some MNF!!!!! Team is playing hard on defense.
