Woodville vs. Mart Friday 3:30 at Crockett double header.

The games have been changed to 3:30 today at Crockett.

I talked to Coach Fentress this last week and he was the Assistant headcoach and O/C at Corrigan. I am not sure what you are talking about in the other statement.

In answer to the question about Steve Fentress. He was the assitant headcoach and O/C at Corrigan-Camden for the last few years. Corrigan-Camden has been in the playoffs most of those years.

The Woodville vs Mart game Thursday is at 6 P.M.

Hemphill beat Central Heights 10-9, so Woodville is District Champs

The bunt was ruled a hit.

If Woodville wins tonight and Central Heights loses they will be tied and then will have to have some kind of a tie breaker, as they would be 1-1 against each other.

They are in second place.

Woodville game postponed till Wed. at 7:00 PM due to rain.

Not only did Reece Winters throw a 1 hitter, he had 16 strikeouts. The one hit he gave up was an infield hit. It was really fun to watch the placement of his pitches. He was picking the corners all night and had a great curve ball working.

They are still at the point of taking resumes and have not started the interview process yet.

Mr. Bass would have to retire from the AD spot before that could happen and I don't think he will anytime soon.

Bass is a administrator only. I know a couple of the asst's are applying and I am sure they will receive a number of resumes for the HC job.

Winters gave up 2 hits, 1 walk, and had 12 K's in five innings. His breaking pitches were really working last night.

Micah Bass is the AD at Woodville.

Silsbee plays Kelly at 6:30 today. Schooling pitched a 3 hitter and had 13 K's for Silsbee. A side note there were 11 bats broken the first day of the tournament.

There are three warm up games at Woodville Sat. I am not sure of times or teams, execept for Woodville vs. Grapeland. I will find out he others and post.

Woodville plays Marlin Thursday the 15th at Huntsville.

Woodville 59 Central Heights 47 Woodville plays Corrigan-Camden Tuesday for 3rd place in district.

Woodville 41 Hemphill 35 Woodville and Hemphill are co-district champs. They will have a playoff Saturday at Zavalla to determine who gets a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
