  2. Woodville plays Blooming Grove at Tyler Friday at 5:00 P.M. at TJC Gym
  3. Kountze 25 Woodville 23 at the half. Very fast played game with very few fouls on either team.
  4. Their were probably 10 errors in the first 3 innings on both teams.
  5. Woodville plays Marlin next. Not sure of when or where.

  7. Gilbert committed to Texas. They have several more after Jr. Day, which is tomorrow.
  8. Gilbert is having a P.C. this afternoon at 4 P.M. Several recruiting services are saying he will be announcing his college plans and it may be to the Texas Longhorns. If so he will be UT's first commit for the class of 2009.

  13. 23-2A will be interesting. Central Heights is rated #1 in some state polls.  Woodville, Woden, and Hemphill are all very close.
  14. The Hemphill coach is not a little to intense, she is way to intense. Headsup is correct that a police officer had to come tell here to calm down and stay off the court during play.
  15. Woodville's record now 20-1 for the season and 5-0 in district.
  16. I had a chance to see Highland Park play earlier in the year and they had probably 70 players suited out.
