Alright, I am here to take my beating! What a team! You guys warned me about LT, but wow! They were the best team I have seen play at Kyle Field this year, and I went to several A&M games! Except the article/post clearly talks about a XMAS parade, not a victory parade. If your point depends upon the coach lying to his players, then it is no point at all. Any coach can make something up and say that he was reading the local paper in so and so town and saw that so and so said whatever.

The point of the thread was to solicit predictions, and like dozens of other people, I offered mine. My description of Central having squeaked out two wins was entirely accurate, and my prediction turned out to be right. My characterization of Central's run as being pathetic was, in retrospect, wrong, and for that I do apologize to the Central players. However, my characterization of Central's fans as being pathetic was, perhaps, the single most accuarate thing I have posted on the HS Football forum. You guys have proved it time and time again!

I am happy to be your whipping boy if it makes you feel better, but I don't use foul language and I defy you to point out anything that I hsaid that was rude, crude, or offensive (unless pointing out facts is offensive).

Most of you Central fans are about as myopic, disingenuous and hypocrtical as possible. You spend all week on this site disrepecting and trash-talking the FHS team, attacking anyone and everyone who has a different opinion, getting more vitriolic as the week passes, acting like GT football teams are God's gift to the sport, and making sure to dare the FHS fans to make sure we get back on this site Sunday (because you are so rediculously overconfident of a win). During the week your coach is silly enough to openly disrepect the FHS players in the local newspaper; which your fans pick up on and publish on this site. Then, your kids go out and play a great game, but get beat (yes, they got beat). But, you can't accept it and so you have to blame the field, the refs, the FHS players parent and fans, and so on and so forth. Then, rather than congratulate the FHS team that just beat (yes beat) your beloved Jaguars, you continue to disrepect and trash-talk the Mustangs -- sometimes using foul language. But,what you don't realize is that what you are really saying to your beloved Jaguars (and, indirectly, to your beloved Broncos) is that you're not even good enough to beat a team that we think can't hold a candle to LT! Do you really think it makes the Central boys feel better to read/hear about how lousy you think the FHS team is? Think about you sore losers! Then, whgen the FHS fans come back on the site -- as we were dared to do -- you say we're classless? Look in the mirror. Are we rubbing it in a bit? Yes. Do you guys deserve it? You bet! Get over it! Go Mustangs!!!!!!

There are 2 great articles in today's Galveston County Daily News. One is about how Stowers silly remarks fired up the FHS boys all and motivated them to take care of business. The other is about how the adjustments made by the Mustang coaches at halftime helped to stop Central's 2nd half offense. Thanks Coach!

You guys are the sorest losers I have ever seen. The QB was clearly down before the ball came out -- which is why 2 or 3 different refs called it at the same time. Friendswood got flagged plenty of times for more than 50 years in pnalties so spare us the "the refs robbed us" whine. The penalties Central got were well deserved -- the bif facemask penaty was clearly a facemask. Not one of you has offered any congratulations to the FHS team. That's really pathetic. Your team lost -- get over it!!!!!!

It was clearly not a fumble. And, but for a Friendswood fumble at the goal, it would have been a bigger lead at the end. Central played great the first half, Friendswood played great the second half, and Friendswood won. End of story!

Actually, they destroyed Nederland a few years ago. Even listed them as the Bullfrogs in the program. It was pretty funny. Oh, and Brubaker, please look up the word sarcasm in the dictionary. Then, get back on here and say "I got it."

Central hasn't faced anything like what they will face tonight! This is gonna be FUN!!!!! Yes, that's right, playing Nederland is just like playing Friendswood. Take that to the bank and see if you can spend that.

Agreed. And, yes, anything less than a Regional Championship for a Lady Mustangs VB or Soccer team is a huge disappointment. But, they were whipped by Magnolia fair and square; which makes me wonder how good Hereford must be this year!
