Buna by 8, HF falls off late and Buna to strong off bench.

Great game Lady Bobcats never quit that shows in good teams. Coach Sanders great coaching job, HF had you down and you keep going to our bench. Looked like HF coach had know convidence in her bench and must be seniors who aren't very good (only 1 played, another one for 1 minute), because her girls needed some breaks. If they weren't she is doing a worse job than I thought not letting girls play at all and JV not very good.

Looks like 3A area teams did well in All State selections. We will have to wait and see about next year.

Who will be the team to beat in 2013, seems most of the All District players were seniors. Any new up and coming players to watch for next year. The teams that went to playoffs held their own against some very good teams.

Buna should be in hunt. Top 2 teams are what everyone figures, but fight will be for 3rd place. Everyone talking HF and they lost alot I thought. Girls didn't seem to mesh with coach and that group seemed to be HF best chance. We seem to beat the younger grades on a regular basis, with just one or two good players in each class. Heard if not all BB probably shouldn't play in new direction. HF numbers I didn't think would let that work, smaller schools have to try and get the best athletes to be on every sport.

What happened to HF freshman, went from unbeaten to 3 L's. Heard they had injuries, but is it that bad.

HF seemed to be young in VB is the same true for basketball.

HF just had off year, really didn't have a true set. This was never a problem in the past. This years team had about the same hitters as always just didn't have a leader at set.

Great job OF. Read OF has alot of seniors on Granger's story, that really helps when you put a get set (QB) with her classmates. They really play well knowing that the ball is going where they are expecting it. They should go far in playoffs.

Would love to have seen her healthy the last 2 years. This girl is a true volleyball QB.

Top 3 only have to stay focused and playoffs are theirs. Orangefield looks like they will sweep district and HJ and Silsbee fiight for 2nd and 3rd. Rest of district have ups and downs, which doesn't let them play consistent. Each one has moments were they can play with anyone.

BC wins in 5, but HF made some changes that seem to spark team in 3rd game.

Orangefield has best set in district by far, but WOS does have some girls that can play if they can keep the momentum going the whole match.

You can't get down on a new coach after his first game. He has to start his program and gradually make changes, he has to learn more about the kids personally and athletically. When in Westbrook's first year one of the best coaches ever in this area started out the season with a loosing record and went on to win state after he learned the right combinations of the kids. The coach has to have the school and parents support and more importantly the kids respect. Sometimes you have to sit a kid on the bench to get their attention. Even though it is not the popular decision the coach has to make them and the parent has to support it and let their kid know to work harder to regain their position.

Looks like alot of teams lost several key players to graduation.
