I am not sure I would use the word "dominate". However - you guys did win. Congrats. Looks like it is gonna be another great season of soccer. Hey Coop - can you maybe talk to the weather gods and ask for just 1 night without the rain? ;)

The weather was absolutely miserable. I am still trying to thaw out. Vidors defense played well. Lumberton scored early in the game. 1 - 0 at halftime. T. Reynolds scored the 1st goal for Vidor from about 20 yds out - Goalie was out of the box. The 2nd goal for Vidor was an own goal. Not really sure but think T. Reynolds headed the ball and it somehow came off one of Lumbertons players into the goal. Lumberton came back and and tied it up. Vidor had a chance with about 2 minutes left. Missed PK - T. Greenway In OT Lumberton scored in 2nd 10 minute period. Great Game

I am not saying that I agree with the parent's yelling at the ref's.  As a matter of fact I do not like it at all.  I think it does affect some of the kids (not is a positive way).  However, my own boys have told me that they do not pay attention to it.  They just play the game.

Nasty night - typical soccer weather I thought both teams played good defensive, aggressive soccer - looks like its going to be a great season. As far as the parents yelling at the ref's - thats not going to change.  Everyone has an opinion.  It happens in every sport - its just in soccer everyone can hear it more.  Good luck to the Bears and the Pirates - hopefully we both make it to the playoffs.  :) :) :) :)
