Good news Horns fans. With 40 Bowl games this year, the NCAA says that it is possible we could see 5-7 teams in a bowl game in order to get enough eligible teams. Teams with marquee wins, like Nebraska and Washington could get a bowl invite with less than 6 wins if there aren't enough 6 win teams.

The Baylor defense and the new QB are still questions, but the Bears are the superior team and I think they pass the first test of their three major exams. OU hasn't proven much, but really none of the Big 12 powers have yet, with this backloaded November schedule.

The last time Texas was shutout by an unranked opponent was 6-0 by TCU in 1961. Kansas is pathetic. 42-14 Horns. Or maybe last second FG. Take your pick.

I thought the spread was crazy, however Kansas is dead last in defense, #128, giving up 581 yards per game. The Texas QB should be salivating. Texas should be able to score plenty, but after last week, who knows.

I guess Nebraska got tired of losing on the last play, so they got it over with early. Still not as bad as the Iowa St debacle.

oh c'mon, SC is not that bad. Their defense certainly ranks near the bottom of the SEC, but if the A&M QB play is as bad as last week, it will be a close game. If we go Pic 6 mode, we lose. SC hasn't won a game in the state of Texas since 1957. Better stay that way.

probably about right. A&m favored by 16.5 over SC. Who else in the Big 12 would Texas be favored by 16.5? I'd say only Kansas.

Down 20, and they give up? That's interesting. Baylor led them 35-0, but they came back to within 35-20 in the 4th Qtr. Iowa St has played Texas tough the last couple of years. I think Texas wins, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they lost.

Mallett is a total airhead only concerned about himself. If the Texans are looking for a leader, he's not it. Yea, he's got a big arm, but good decision making, not so much. Just a big 6'7 Johnny Football-Jay Cutler combo mix. I'd let him go now. I don't see any future with him in this franchise.
