It was good to see Berman get his ring. And the Cards did all this with their best pitcher on the shelf for the whole year.

Although the Rangers didn't win, I loved every bit of this game. That's exactly why I love this game, the ups and downs within a game and how individuals bounce back. Also love seeing the different strategies within the game. I just hope game 7 lives up to game 6 or at least close to it.

Heard the Crane guy is ok with the move now as long as there is compensation from MLB. I know I don't want them to switch AL is much tougher League. Not sure what kind of compensation Crane is looking for??? Maybe #1 draft pick for next 10 years?

There is also improved chances at the playoffs. 6 in the NL Central, there would be 5 in the AL West.

Improved as far as number of teams. But when you have Pittsburg in you division that would help. Would have to play Rangers and Angels who aren't afraid to spend money and the A's and M's who usually have very solid young pitching. -
Maybe they can talk the Astros into paying $10 million each on these guys so they can keep them. I'm sure Eddie could work that out for his boyz in Philly.

Strike Em out throw Em out!!! Best DP in baseball!!

Yep. I like that one myself. -
Zepchinsky is flat nasty! Bases Loaded!

Dotel about screwed up on those 4 intentional pitches to Cruz. :D
-
Another good one. Beltre tied it earlier on a jack from his knee on a curveball.

100 loses again. I guess that does equal #1 draft picks. Turned out good for the Rays after all those years. Just hope we favor them instead of the Pirates although even they showed some improvement in 2011.

Great job Derek Holland! Way to go Rangers!

That's crazy how an Umps blown call can cost a team 4 runs.
5-0 Cards mid 4

Don't know how he missed it...had the best look in the house >:(

They should make just about everything reviewable at this point in the season. Just need an ump in the booth to review all calls and buzz them down on the field if something needs to be overturned. Just need to get the calls right. -
Not exactly their days off if you ask me. Should not be allowed to have alcohol in the work place. I know clubs used to provide it for them but many have stopped this practice.after the game they are on their own just like any other profession. Just think they should pctice a little more professionalism.

Sox were stupid to let this guy go. Redsox had best record in baseball. A good portion of the year despite what an 0-10 start? They just ran into a rough stretch where they weren't exactly healthy and the guys that were didn't pitch well. Its baseball, sometimes crap happens.
-
Id rather see them give it to the team with the lower payroll. Go Rangers and Berkman!
-
Enjoying the latest run they've been on. They are a lot of fun to watch. Always pulled for them because they were a Texas team but didn't really become a fan until Nolan played for them. Enjoyed the slugfests they used to have in the mid 90s with their big bats. Seems like Nolan has instilled some toughness to this ballclub and gotten them to play the game as it should be. Not something you see much anymore with the younger generations being so spoiled and over sensitive. Go getem Rangers.

I am pulling for the Cardinals. Usually like watching La Rusa's teams. Like to watch Pujols swing it and think he is a fun guy to root for. Plus the fact that Berkman is with them now gives me another reason to pull for them. That way if the Rangers don't win it at least Berkman will get a ring. I also like those Cardinals uniforms. ???

Your thoughts?
I know this Texas boy is pulling for Nolan and his Rangers. 8)[hr][hr] -
Tigers win series! God I love hating the Yankees!
Tiger vs Rangers ALCS -
Heard on Espn that he told the other management that he thought they needed a new voice in the clubhouse. So I guess it was a mutual parting. He did a great job there, and heck the won 90 despite falling apart in Septemeber. They just ran into a little bad luck and some injuries. I don't see too much wrong in Boston, tinker with a few things and the train will be fine. Do wish Francona the best, he seems like a very fine and and great manager.

Cj was up in the zone with his stuff way to much. The rookie Matt Moore looked great in only his 2nd career start. Hope the Rangers can do it. But having to face Shields twice along with David Price will be tough.

This kid is a beast. One of the better high school hitters I have seen.

What time does this one start?

Watched Back to the Future 2 the other day and laughed with Michael J. Fox was more shocked about there being a team in Miami than the Cubs beat Miami in 2015 in the movie. So the new name change reminded me of the movie. Not to big on the new uniforms either, but their new stadium looks nice with retractable roof and all.
