If im not mistaken HJ did just win a state championship with only 2 seniors that played graduating, even though they were very big contributions to the team. The rest were juniors and a sophmore, tell me why they would not repeat. You people have me baffled.

Im sure everyone knows how big Silsbees gym is. When they played WOS the whole home side was jam packed. It was like they refused to sit anywhere close to the visitor side. When silsbee scored to tie the game up and send it to overtime there was a deaffening roar.That was probably as loud as I have ever heard a gym get. It is not consistent, but on that particular night it was rockin'.

HJ will be playing Newton on friday night. I think it will be the game right before the Kountze EC battle.

By the way our football team won 3 games out of 11; your basketball team has won 2 out of 30.

The best dunker in our area is Stephen Moten. If you have not seen him play you really need to make a trip out to Ozen soon.

Leave West Orange alone. They have a great coach and good, classy players. They will be just fine. HJ and Silsbee will both beat Jasper therefore WOS will still make the playoffs. Look for the Mustangs to turn it around.

I seriously doubt WOS loses. They are a phenominal team with a great coach, and if you think for one minute that they are not as good as HF or OF then you probably dont know very much about basketball. It also matters a whole lot. Like sunshine said wouldn't you rather play a 3rd place team than a 2nd.

OF Backer you are highly unintelligent HJ just beat your program by 40 please learn when to run your head and when to keep it quiet.

WH has 2 or 3 players that are good ,but they have no bench from what i understand. Hadin Jefferson WOS and Kountze run up and down the floor the whole game WH would get to tired. Plus its not really fair to compare a small 1A to a larger 3A.

You forgot about needville and cold springs. They are both very good teams

You know whats funny though. HJ does NOT have to worry about OF this year simply becuase they are terrible. Period end of discussion. HJ is 14-0 and has beat many formitable opponents. There is a little room for big robes to talk a little noise. OF on the other hand has no room for any trash talk what-so-ever because the team is not good.
