1. Deer Park North Shore LaPorte Westbrook Sterling PAM Channelview Just an Opinion, if Sterling can beat Westbrook again, then those two should swap. Top three seems a lock.

 7. Look's like Thames isn't missing a beat with the GCM team. Watching the GCM/Channelview game, they are well coached and alot of energy from the players.
 8. 2011 RSS Ranger graduate Trey Pledger will transfer to Concordia University in Austin for 2012-2013 after playing for Hill College his freshman year.

 10.

Come on GCMPats...Base hits and errors are generally the decision of an assigned coach working with whomever is keeping the official book.  No one lets student athletes decide that stuff.
You would be surprised.
Yes you would.
 11. Knowing Coach Rupp, he is a fiery guy and demands alot of his players but it seems like after every GCM loss there is controversy. They appear to be the "Yankees" of high school baseball in the area. Everybody not associated with them loves to hate on them when they win or lose. The program has achieved a great deal of success for a new program and alot of that can be attributed to Coach Rupp in my opinion. We have all seen behavior from opponents that we don't agree with but it goes both ways most of the time. Kudos to Livingston on the win. Todays game should be a good one. Looking forward to the post game posts after this one regardless of the outcome.
 12. Hope the Rangers can right the ship quick. Those two Channelview forfeits are looming large now. Without them the Rangers would be sitting in the fifth hole at 5-6 one game back of LaPorte, Westbrook and Channelview. Finishing with a struggling PAM to end the season should help the Rangers return to the playoffs.
 13. I'm going to have get GCMPats back on this one. He/Her would in no way ever ridicule a player. The point made on the added pressure put on a player by announcing him by his nickname can backfire in many ways. This is a "team" game and when your team is 0-2 in district and in the process of going to 0-3 via a 15-3 thrashing, now is the time to be a little more humble. I'm sure the other district foes are already aware of the nickname and their dugouts will be ruthless from here on out. The boy is good and letting his skills talk would speak louder than anything. Just my opinion.
 14. The talent is there. But as stated above, they must cut down on the errors in order to be competitive. Odom throws strikes but lacks a strikeout pitch, if the defense is there he should be ok. Snyder probably has the nastiest stuff and being a lefty he is an asset, if he's on he's very good, but if off there's gonna be alot of hit batsmen. As Gee stated, Garcia is the most polished but was hit last year. Being a year older he most likely will be locating pitches better and be tougher to hit. Being only a sophomore, his upside is tremendous. Boogie is an all around good athlete but "ace" I don't know. Whoever is on the mound when the sticks and defense shows up will determine the ace. Best of luck to them but 5 to 6 errors per game is tough to overcome.

 19.
They have all been picked, they will not be public until all teams from that district are eliminated from the playoffs.
21-5A selections have been made as well, but as Pat says, they also will not be public until the remaining representative is eliminated. (LaPorte)
