and i love the fact that no is giving Evadale credit beating BS and WH. Everyone is saying either the refs won the game for Evadale or the other team played bad. Guess we will here a new excuse next week.

agreed^^....i havent seen anyone in district work as hard to win a game as Evadale does. Until someone does then yeah they deserve to be called the best in district.

I don't see anyone in district running with the rebels and you could see the BS coach even say these guys are out hustling us. Guess we will have to wait and see

Who ever #32 is a beast down low for evadale.  I've never seen a performance on the boards like that kid did tonight. His dunk was felt all the way in Beaumont. Just came from no where.

Ok maybe I was wrong I said rebels by 30 but it was a lot more than that. Great game rebs. I think that shows who the boss is in the district. Murphy had 19 in first quarter and finished with even more. It was proven tonight that its hard to run with these guys. Coach will has this team running through the competition. Again great game guys

The coaches from goodrich should be ashamed. How do you do this to another team. I cant stand teams that dont have a heart and purposely run up the score on an obvious poor team. That isnt basketball.

Kinda hard to be on when ur being gaurded in the box and one #3 had a great game and he contributed with defense, assist, and leadership

Very exciting game tonight. I think that both teams played their hearts out and their always has to be a winner and a loser. Evadale showed they can still win without #3 getting his normal touches and WH showed they have improved from last year. Their were a few calls that i didnt agree with but thats the game. Great game to both teams but the first half of district belongs to the Rebels of Evadale. "HIT'EM WITH THE OL' BALL PEEN HAMMA"

Great story.. Dev is becoming a great player and teammate and will def lead the rebs to a great run in district and the playoffs.

i thought the game was pretty fair. Yeah the refs have games were they are good or bad but they cant lose a game for you. All i saw was one team out working, out hustling and out smarting the other team. I think the next game at BS will be the same result.

I say the rebes by 15. I have heard that WH is getting better but i dont see anyone in the district hanging with the aggresivness of the rebs. Gonna be a good game but again...the new boss is the same as the old boss.

It was a great game for the rebs. Everyone got touches and looks at the basket. They look like they are going to be a great team and will make a good run at winning district and back into the play-offs this year. Go Rebs!!!

This is for honest Abe...Nederland did make the playoffs during one year of Williams term at Nederland. They played WOS in the Montagne Center. You have no idea what your talking about. I played for Coach Will and i know that he is one the hardest working coach's out there. Just because he didn't have the best players or talent in his term at Nederland doesn't mean he did work his butt off every day to get the kids ready. And you don't know that because you weren't at his practices. During one season they practiced at 6 a.m. and after school. If that isn't hard work i don't know what is. I would like to point out that coach English isn't playing against a team like Ozen with Perk or a LCM team with Cameron Spencer and Hurley. English didn't coach agains TJ or Lincoln also. The district is severally weak. Show some respect. Both coaches are great at what they do and are great role models for the young kids.

I don't know what his personal issue is with him. I'll give Coach L respect if he does something more than one season. Not sure if his kids had lots of talent or what. I just know he did NOTHING for the Nederland program when he was there. Hardwood-he did NOT prepare any of these kids to get where they are today. Coach E is the one who coached them during little dribblers, etc and implemented a winning attitude, along with their work ethic and dedication to the program...

Ok this is for #1 manager....First off Coach Williams did not get let go from Nederland, he resigned from Nederland after his son graduated so you need to get your facts straight. Second yes Evadale had a good team but playing on the 1a level is a whole nother animal than 4a. Evadale had 1 practice before playing their first game. You play(or practice) year around in 4a. Coach English is a great young coach but he also had a very talented team this year so again....get your facts straight. Your just upset you didnt make it to Austin. You bit off more than you can chew #1 manager

id like to say i have gone over the stats and has made more three pointers than the whole milano team. i see evadale  coming together tonight and showing what the evadale  rebels are made of. go get them rebs
