After having each region have 1 empty district which caused for some byes in the playoffs the last couple of years, the UIL made sure that each region has 8 full districts this time around. The result of doing this gives us eight 5 team districts and one 4 team district. With 3 teams qualifying for the playoffs, it just waters it down even more. ::)

I say Newton and Woodville are the two playoff reps from this district.
