[/quote] Actually, Reed did not fill his shoes. These two both started. Reed was probably the better player last year out of the two. It is still a void from last year that IMO has not been filled. It hurt there bench. The shooter from Splendora is a good one, no doubt, but he is not a post player. I personally think they would have been better had Carrington stayed and the Splendora kid had not transfered.

Coach Broussard told me himself losing Carrington was a hit to his team. You lose a very athletic '6"5 post player who was a starter is gonna hurt. Cleveland is still very, very good.

WOS (17-8, 3-2) are coming off a big win over Orangefield, 59-40, to currently solidify themselves in the 3rd spot in district. Silsbee (22-2, 5-0) is coming off a huge win over rival Hardin-Jefferson, 50-41, in what was a battle of the two unbeatens in district and top 6 state ranked teams. Tigers are now on top of the district with the second round of play to begin tonight. Silsbee defeated the Mustangs at WOS the first go round, 84-59. You can play 365 days there and it's not going to make any difference if Sabine plays Kountze. Lions win by 25. New Waverly was much better than Sabine last year and this year. Bulldogs chose to play it close last year.
