1.
Just wondering how are these teams not under the umbrella? Onalaska is right across the lake from Livingston and Trinity is not that far either.
Mainly because they play in a district that we do not consider to be an SETX district.
 2.
Forgive my semantics.  Basically you have some excellent teams in your area that you cover well.  Although we are on the fringes of your coverage we play many of your teams, some losses some wins.  Just trying to get our name in the conversation.
I am all for getting more teams into our "umbrella". I know about Trinity and look forward to any and all talk in regards to that team. We have to draw the line somewhere, sadly some get left out. I just felt that your post stating Trinity and New Waverly had beaten most of the teams in the Dirty Dozen poll was very inaccurate.
 3. Final Lamar                  92 Central Arkansas    78
 4. 5:11 left LU          77 UCA        61
 5. 7 minutes left LU          69 UCA        59
 6. I am glad we are blessed with 3 main local papers (Beaumont Enterprise, Port Arthur News, Orange Leader) along with a few weekly papers (Silsbee Bee, Hardin County News, Mid County News, etc.) that a lot of the local games get some kind of coverage. Problem is, the newspaper business has had to cut back on personnel. BE has only 3 reporters doing games, PA News and Orange Leader just 1 each. (on occasion 2). So, just a few select games on a given night can be covered. I think they are doing as good as can be expected with being so short handed in staff. That's where we step in as for getting scores. I know I have personally been thanked by our local media (both print, TV and radio) to what we provide here at SETXsports. Makes their job much easier.
 7. 12:15 left LU        56 UCA      48
 8. Halftime LU        30 UCA      29
 9. 3:27 left in half LU      26 UCA    27
 10. Lamar trails at UCA 22-20 at the under-8 timeout. Lamar trying to recover from another bad start.
 11. Lamar trails UCA 17-16 at second media timeout (11:21). Brandon Davis hit a couple big shots, one for 3.
 12.
UT,  sorry about your claps but what team are you for.  Trinity and New Waverly has beat most of your Dirty Dozen, just curious.
/\ /\ /\ /\ Here is your quote. "most of your Dirty Dozen". Well, beating 3 out of the 12 does not qualify as "most". I would say that would be a "few". You never stated that Trinity beat "most" of the Dirty Dozen that they have actually played. Here is another one of your statements: "I apologize we only defeated .666% of them". The context of that reply was referring to the entire Dirty Dozen poll, not just the THREE teams that they actually played. I was just trying to clarify your play on words. ;)
 13. Lamar trails UCA 11-6 at first media timeout (15:44). UCA playing its game with full-court presses, pushing ball upcourt.
 14.
Nice win Dawgs. Don't hang your heads Bears.  You got beat by a very good team.  The Bears will make the playoffs, as I have been saying all year.
Seeing that Lumberton, PNG, Vidor and Livingston are not good teams, that's a "big" limb you are out on. ;) ::)
 15.

I like Silsbee's set up. One whole side for the visitors, one whole side for the Tiger fans. (775 per side). Now, question is, will that be the same when the Tigers visit HJ? ;)
HJ has many fans that sit on the visitors side of the gym.  Always have, and always will.
So, since Silsbee was accommodating to HJ fans by not allowing Silsbee fans to sit on the visitor side in the HJ game (some Silsbee fans do sit on the visitor side in other games), you are stating that HJ will not be so accommodating when Silsbee comes to town?? Interesting.......

 20.

HF community won't be sharing dinner today! WOW! Told buddy to flame out.
Just comical to me that he was against the coaching move in the beginning (which is fine because that's how he feels) but he sure went quiet while everything was going well. Guess he was liking the coaching? Now they lost a district game and look what happens...it's one game and it was against very good competition. guess he would have rather them run man and got beat 125-57 instead of 96-57... That's all I can figure.
I agree. Silsbee may win by larger margin had HF gone man defense. dawg13 stays quiet after team goes 18-7, 2-0 in district (15-4 under Coach Neal who was moved up from 8th grade coach), but they get beat by what was clearly a superior team and out comes the coach bashing. Three coaches now since dawg13 has a vested interest in team ;), and yet none of them are good enough when they lose. Clearly Hamshire-Fannett would be better off without the likes of the dawg13's of the world. ;)

Granted you could see some good percentages for individuals and the percentages could be skewed on some teams by a few players more involved in the game and therefore shooting more free throws.
C'mon ST413, let's let them have their excuse. ;) ;D
Our only excuse is that we lost to a superior team.
That's not what "some" of the HJ fans have been stating. ;) bmrm, nice comment.
