As much as I rag on our head coach, you can't put that one on him. He was an hour away at the JV game. ANYBODY that has been around the game wouldn't get greedy like that. Take a knee, get the win and get on the bus to go home. Whoever made that decision to throw the ball probably won't have too much decision making power in the future...

I guess that's why those coaches are with the freshmen team and don't really have a role on the Varsity level...

He will get his time on offense but it won’t be this year. He is not needed on that side of the ball, plenty of receivers. It wouldn’t matter if he was on offense if the QB isn’t letting the ball go. I agree with you Soulja on him being a dawg on defense. With Channelview throwing the ball more than King, and the other major adjustment the defense has made, he will have the chance to make some plays Friday night. I love the way he knows how to help out in run support against bigger RB’s while protecting himself. It was a good day of practice today with lots of energy.
