1. I originally didn't want Dwight but it is what it is. So I guess they'll sign him, possibly sign Josh Smith, trade Asik and Lin to Boston for Rondo. Next years starting 5 could be Rondo @ Point, Harden @ Shooting Guard, Parsons @ 3, Smith @ 4 and Howard @ Center... It's ok to daydream when you're at work on the night shift...  8)
 2. I only want Howard if Asik stays.  If Asik must go for Howard to be here, then no.
 3. The c/o 95, from Central High.  Jaguar by blood...

 5.
Lin is under that $25 million contract. Patrick Beverely is a better point guard then him Lets say if Rockets get Dwight, should they keep Asik? I would love to have them two.
When the Rockets initially picked up Asik I was like WTF! But I'd keep him if I could with Dwight. Lin is the dead weight that needs to be shipped off some kind of way...
 6.
They can afford Dwight and Milsap... they should get them both... They may not be able to keep parsons long term after that b yup t that would be a great team any way
I don't know if I get rid of Parsons.  He is only going to get better.

Case closed, try again.  ::)
Humble and SC will have very close number.  SC picked up some of Humbles kids over the past couple years.  This will level off.  Look at Humble's numbers in 2010 (District 18 at that point); [Hidden Content]
2010 is irrelevant, there has been a re-alignment since then.  ::)
And another ...this school will never hit 3,000+ kids in the near future.  What you'll see is SC with about 1800 kids as will Humble.  A shift of a 200-300 kids is not massive.  [b]ALSO ...if SC has to go 5A ...Crosby damn sure has to go too.  Their numbers are similar. 11. ESPN mentioned the possibility of Chris Paul and Dwight Howard coming to play with James Harden...

 13. No now the beans are spilt over the recent success of the Summer Creek athletic programs... 8)
 14.
If money was no object, Id have mine going to several camps.  However, being that it is......I prefer to send mine to a speed camp.  I feel that I cant go wrong by making him faster, stronger, and more agile.  Plus its the tightwad in me that I tend to think that a 3 week speed camp vs a 4 day skills camp is more bang for the buck.  JMO and in know way am I criticisizing those that do the other.  As I said, id love to and I do think there is much benefit to those camps.  Would love more info on both the good and the bad ones.  Good thread.
What speed camp do you use?
 15. Soulja, did the Jags do 7 on 7 last year?  They are out here at Durley getting ready to play either WB or PN-G...
 16. I know its 7 on 7 but WB getting toasted by PN-G @ Durley...

 18. I never fish in the ponds but I see people fishing there all the time. I don't know how often the city stocks the ponds but I do know of people catching bass from Rayburn and Toledo and depositing them in the ponds so there are at least some bass in the big one to the left.
 19.
Top 5 schools are: Nederland Barbers Hill East Chambers Evadale Huffman
These results sound kind of fishy to me if you are judging a school on its total body of work for the year in girls and boys sports...

 21.

yeoj -  French use a 6-2 defense and went to State, not many ran on it and a 50 defense will walk down a safety to stop the run, then a 4-2-5 will gave you a 6 front; so what's funny about putting more in the box to stop the run. I guess your school don't get ran on because you know much more then us fans on this site, but know I'm just a fan waiting for football to start. This is a fan site, but if you didn't know, there is a website for coaches since I GUESS you make a living coaching.
6-2 would make 8 in the box. Walking a safety down in a 50 defense would give you 8 in the box. And a 4-2-5 is basically a nickel version of the 4-3 which teams run to stop passing spread teams. What's funny is how you make statements about teams and don't have a clue as to what you're talking about! And no I don't coach. It doesn't pay enough for me.
Yea after deciphering what he was trying to say, I think he meant 8 in the box because most teams already have at least 6...
 22.

I don't know if Ozen's Coach will have the best year, but they will be in the top 3 in the district. Also, Ozen has the best RB in the district Rodney Randle Jr. I know first hand. IMO of course Lol
You need more than a running back to make it in this district. Ned Vidor and (if i'm not mistaken) PNG all return 4 out of 5 of there offensive lineman and Ned and Vidor have established running backs in Hopkins and Sage who have already had success in the varsity ranks. Ozen lost most of there oline and Randle hasn't done anything on the Varsity level. He may be good but not the best in the district. I can assure you of that.
I think Bigcam must be related to Randle. Like it was previously said, it takes more than just a good RB to win or even be competitive in this district.  The best I see Ozen doing is 4th and Central finishing in 2nd because of a "TEAM" and not just a good "RB".

 24. [Hidden Content] I'm liking what I see so far, except for the part where he said some of the old coaches are still there.  I hope those coaches are buying into Coach Foremans plan.
I kinda agree with you on this.... my thing is will they work while away from coaches... if they do... it could be katy bar the door.... definitely have the talent but I refer you to the caption under my name...
Like you said, as long as they are working away from the coaches, they have the talent...this shouldn't even be close.
