Lamar Consolidated's RB was small. I don't know what he weighed, but he must of been about 5'2" it looked like. I think that is part of his sucess, the D would lose him behind the O-line until he broke loose. Very shifty runner like a Barry Sanders.

I hope I get to meet him. My dad played for him at PNG.

I am hearing (not confirmed) that the 1957 team will be honored at Ned's homecoming. I am also hearing that Bum Phillips will be attending.

Sorry, basketball doesn't bring in 12-13 thousand people into one stadium, or more than that for playoff and championship games. At four dollars a pop, you can't tell me that football is not the biggest revenue source for a school, as long as you have the fan following.

I didn't take it as one. ;D My point is that someone always seems to step into that role, that someone might not be well know yet , but he will.

I agree. This is the step to break the cycle in all level of sports, stop it in high school and it wont be a part of thier routine in college or the pros.

I don't know if any one has already talked about this one, but Ned vs Friendswood, in '05. Double OT and a fumble ended it , the fans rushed the field, great game.
