Jasper vs WOS was pretty intense for a few years, but not playing every year has kind of faded the rivalry.

I think some of a rivalry involves the stakes in the game, such as PNG and PAM playing for the DC this year. Also the amount of dislike between the two towns and also the history, especially the amount of close games.

I doubt seriously any coach conducts "home checks" of their players. This isn't social services and the coaches don't have that kind of time anyway.

And we don't know when the waiver was applied for, it could have been after all of this came to light after which it was denied. Either way, luckily it only cost Nederland one game instead of several although it still might cost them a playoff trip. Believe me, I think Neumann has learned his lesson on paperwork.
