They actually missed the last three years in 4A, '01-03. They made the 3A state semifinal game in '05. The first time to the 3A finals was in 2014.

You aren't looking at the other side of the coin. Those areas also have a lot of high-paying jobs that bring in the money and people who bring the athletes. People aren't going to move to a high tax school district just for football with no job to pay for it.

Maybe, but if you look at Vidor's record lately the booms have been when you have had some very good players and the busts are after they graduate. Same thing with Lumberton. The 2011-12 years you had Quirante, after that it didn't pickup up again until this year. With all the seniors graduating this year Vidor will be very young again. Therein lies the difference between a couple of good years every so often and a full program. That is what Vidor and Lumberton are trying to get to but haven't so far. Even with graduation you don't see big drop offs at WOS , Ned , or PNG or PAM.

I addressed it a long time ago when that thread was up. You are the one bringing up "secret spring practices" and all of that garbage, and have been for the last couple of years. No one has to mention Central, everyone (not just Ned fans) sees through the charade your running here. And I wished the young man well when he left the team and have spoken to his father about it privately and done the same.
