  1. A little analysis: Nederland D - I'm sure Spell and Neumann will pay attention to what PAM did to contain RJ. My opinion put a spy on RJ to keep him from hurting with your feet. Similar to when we play Vidor, the D-line and LBs will have to play assignment football and stay in their assigned lanes. Put our best DB on their best WR and follow him around. Get some pressure on RJ to make him make bad throws or a sack. Nederland O- PNG will key on Simmons, mix it up some with the other two RBs as they are both good change of pace RBs. Short passes and screens to slow down the rush. One silver lining of all the QB injuries (if there is one) is it makes PNG's preparation harder as Ned has had 4 different QBs under center and I think three will be available this week. Barrow will probably have some completely different looks that haven't been used all season for the NDNs.
  2. there wasn't a whole lot last year either, I think this streak has shell-shocked the NDN faithful. And maybe shaken their faith in Faircloth, at least as far as MCM goes.
  3. Its getting to be too much of a lovefest in here.. Get ready to see this again.
  4. You can bet LN has some special things drawn up for the NDNs. Even if after losing the last 6 in a row if the injuns come in overconfident they may be leaving on the trail of tears.
  5. Wow, Vidor making trailer house references. SMH.
  6. The only time Faircloth gets to touch the trophy...
  7. Thanks
  8. Yes, or go the route that I perfer which is take care of your own buisness. Beat PNG and the rest doesn't matter.
  9. I think that covers it..whew!
  10. Might as well really get this thread started, or start the official one..
  11. Dang. Need two more tds and a 2pt conversion..
  12. Updated: Team Record Next Opponent Nederland 4-3 PNG Central 3-4 Baytown Lee Livingston 3-4 Beaumont Ozen Scenario 1: Ned loses to PNG, Central Beats Lee, Livingston beats Ozen. All three teams tied at 4-4, Central would be in on point differential. (Central -7 vs Ned, +21 vs Livingston for a +14 total) Scenario 2: Ned beats PNG , Central Beats Lee, Livingston beats Ozen. Ned is in with a 5-4 record vs 4-4 for the other two teams. Scenario 3: Ned loses to PNG , Central loses to Lee, Livingston beats Ozen. Livingston's only scenario to make the playoffs as they would be tied at 4-4 with Ned and would advance on head-to-head. Scenario 4: Ned loses to PNG, Central beats Lee, Livingston loses to Ozen. Ned advances on head-to head vs Central. Playoff Clinching scenarios: Nederland: Win and your in. Its that simple (or a loss to PNG coupled with a Livingston loss to Ozen) Central : A Nederland and Livingston loss and beating Lee, or a Ned loss and Livingston win vs Ozen and beating Lee. (point diff) Livingston: Thier only scenario is a Ned loss and Central Loss
  13. Still doesn't eliminate Nederland.
  14. They kicked him out??
  15. Its not like I'm working for ESPN. >:(
  16. Defense better tighten up or the playoff chances are over tonight! >:(
  17. Lol. Enjoy your 1 point win, Ned will be back next year and no more Quirante's in the pipeline to give you a decent season..
  18. Not a whole lot to say about the game really. Gabe has a good article on who Ned needs to focus on in Lumberton's offense. Ned has to win to stay in the playoff race, Lumberton's race is already over. Last home game for the Dogs, so the stands will be packed and loud.
  19. Well , since you are making snarky comments, he has about 400 yds more than he had the whole year at Ozen. and over 1000 more than he had in 2014-2015. From what I can tell he has 3,917 yds total. 41 tds.
