1. This is how i see it turning out
    1.) Newton 7-0
    2.) EC- 6-1
This is where it gets tricky. The main games in this one are the KV-WV game this week. If KV wins this game they should Win out leaving them 4-3 With the head to head against WV. But if WV wins this game then they get 3rd place
In all of this Woodville has the greatest chance to get 3rd; Anahuac has a chance but they will need Kirbyville to Beat Woodville and themselves to beat Kountze and Woodville Loses out the rest of the season; Kountze has a chance but they need to beat Anahuac and woodville to lose out the rest of the season; Kirbyville if they win out the rest of the season.. They get 3rd I believe.
3.) KV (if they win out) or WV if they beat KV
So assuming that EC and Newton win out the winner of Woodville-KV should be 3rd but KV will have to win out if they want it. If KV loses to kountze then woodville will get 3rd from head to head against kountze and anahuac but they will have to beat warren to make it official.

Ouchh lower than a woodville team that we beat 28-6... But the way we played friday we deserved it but still c'mon.
Well E/C not near as good as there 28-6 win over my eagles gamed played now you lose. I will promise We will not lose to newton by 60.
::) Okay if neither Kountze nor EC can contain Newton what makes you think Woodville can? Ec's defense in my opinion (Besides the past 2 weeks) Is better than Woodville's. I'm not sure when Woodville plays Newton but i don't see it being close.

Come on. Lol give Woodville their moment of glory lol they've played great the past two weeks and had two big wins while EC has....well....not played very well lol they'll be back up there in a couple weeks I think. But give us the glory while its here :)

Newton will win district outright. East Chambers is going to take it's frustrations out on Kirbyville and win that game moving East Chambers to 3-1 and Kirbyville to 1-3 in district. According to the Professionals Newton will give Kountze it's second loss in District moving Kountze to 2-2 in district. Woodville will beat Hardin moving Woodville to 3-1 in district. Now this set up makes the rest of the district very fluid for the 2nd and 3rd. playoff spot. A win by Kirbyville over Woodville by more two points and a win by Kountze over East Chambers and a loss by Anahauc to Newton  puts Kountze and Kirbyville in tie for second via the points  and head to head with Woodville and East Chambers. If Kountze losses to EC but the aforementioned happens between Kirbyville and Woodville than I believe that would put EC in second  and Woodville In third. This would make the game with Kountze and Kirbyville become key and as well as a final weeks victory. If Kountze beats Kirbyville and Woodville takes a loss to Newton and Kountze beats Anahauc the last game of the season than it all goes back to a Forecasted Woodville loss to Kirbyville by more than two points . If that did occur the playoff picture would be Newton, EC, Kountze. If Kountze were to loose to Kirbyville than Woodvilles destiny would be tied to the game with Kirbyville and If Anahuac beats Kountze it releave woodville of any point spread issue with Kountze. There are many situations to play out in this district for the 2nd and 3rd playoff spot...It ain't gonna be over till the last week for Kountze, EC, Kirbyville, Woodville or Even Anahauc on the outside chance unless Kountze drops one to Kirbyville and or Anahauc and Kirbyville drops one to Woodville or looses to Kirbyville by two or less. If that occurred than It will be Newton, EC and Woodville leaving Kountze and Anahauc to battle for a tie for the forth spot or outright fourth in the final week. NOW THIS IS FUN!

Fun?? That is an understatement! GO BUCS  ;D

EC beat Newton the last 2 years and is still a playoff team. Can't compare them to Warren. No problem with the score last night from me.
Your right. But I wasn't comparing them to Warren. When Newton beat Warren you come out with a very strongly worded opinion how it was poor sportsmanship to do that and blamed the coach. When EC beat Warren by scoring a lot more points and winning by a larger amount than Newton did, you were a no show on the sportsmanship thing with regard to EC.
EC against warren had the same problem that y'all did last night.. the defense just kept getting big plays and once we got on offense their defense just couldn't stop us. We were in no way trying to run up the score on warren. The only thing that would be somewhat questionable about us running up the score no one mentioned from the game. Towards the end of the 1st half our sophomore kicker was instructed to kick a squib kick but he kicked it wrong and it came off as an onside kick. I believe we recovered it but we kneeled it. But we had no intention of running up the score..
I in no way meant to or tried to imply anything negative about the score between EC and Warren. I don't think EC or Newton are the types of teams or coaches that would do that sort of thing. My comments were because Jenks made accusations about it being an unsportsmanship thing for Newton and their coach to have beat Warren by the score they did. He is an EC supporter and then said nothing about EC score in the defeat of Warren. I do not think it had anything to do with sportsmanship, it was circumstance. And yes I think the EC-Newton game was the same thing.
I actually dont think he is an EC supporter. I know when we played HF he went for hf so i guessed he was an hf supporter but i could be wrong.

Newton will win by how ever many they wont in this game but I really dont think they will run the score up on kountze. They ran the score up on EC for A reason!!!!!!!!!!    JMO
They ran up the score on ec because they know ec is the next best in the district.. and i'm not sure if kountze loses less than 74-7 if that means they have a better defense.. After the 3rd touchdowns you could tell on ec players faces that the game was over. That had some reason for them losing that bad.. When they said Newton by however many they want i didn't believe it til i saw it. Newton wins this. I'm never good at predicting scores but i say Newton by +28
  8. I think anyone who thinks EC is gonna get blown out again, or even beat is out of their mind. How many times does a good team get blown out and come out the next game with no intensity? Not very often. I'm still not sure what to think of EC's offense. Their passing is doing terrible thus far and if it doesn't turn around soon i'm not sure it will for the rest of the season. Their defense needs to step up this week. Best of luck to both teams this week.

Newton by as much as they want
I know your predictions mean nothing. And are very inaccurate but i remember last year someone said this exact thing, and EC was just one play away from making it a 3 td lead but instead turned it over and Newton scored making it a 1 td lead. So after saying that i believe this years game will come down to defense, and the team that makes the least mistakes on offense. I am picking EC to win, how much is irrelevant because its going to be a very close game. Wishing the best for EC but good luck newton!

God bless both teams, and keep them injury free.

This will be Homecoming for Hardin.

Kountze will have an audience on hand, for this one.

    1,500 plus fans expected.
One thing i have learned is that you can't look over anyone especially on their homecoming.. Lol Good luck to both teams! And may the best team come out victorious.
  11. We didn't suit up 3 starters 1 offensive 1 defensive and 1 both and our starting safety got knocked out on the first play of the game.. Our qb just didnt have his mind in the game that first quarter and we have too many turn overs.. We will get the kinks worked out and be ready for Newton when the time comes. But right now we will take it one week at a time.

34.. I see what you did there  ;)
and what is that ?
Our special teams have been fairly bad throughout the first 3 weeks.. Only going about 50% on XP so i just assumed you meant by 34 that we would miss a couple of extra points.

You right but I got a feeling HF takes this...I could be wrong. Y'all better play better than you did against OF if you plan on winning district again.
Oh trust me we will play better than we did against OF. We were out of shape and just tired. I saw multiple kids getting stretched on the sidelines for cramps. I believe Coach Sutherland took care of that problem. I think EC takes this pretty easily.. Especially after seeing HF against Anahuac last Friday.
