[b][/b] Rub it in threads such as this are not going to help the situation[b][/b].  It's the PNG way, always will be.  There are some good people from PNG, but a few folks have ruined it over the years.[/quote]


    Had PNG lost, this thread would be a 100 pages....people coming out of the wood works to call us out. We have a winning tradition and we are proud of our Team....With all the smack talk that went one before the game...this thread seems to be very lighthearted and lots of well wishes being given to Vidor.

    End of 3 rd quarter i was just fixing to start talking smack about a blowout...but something told me not to hit that post button...Vidor started roliing and i got a little nervous....just a little..lol. Great game...one of the best of the season..Good luck Vidor...take it to those Lions! Rooting for ya in the playoffs...20 4a all the way!

    Enjun, I can appreciate your team/coaching staff loyalty, but since Arvie is a Senior then what is Coach Faircloth's plan?  To let him graduate without knowing how good he is among his peers?  Here's what it sounds like from the outside looking in:  either the "Arvie Hype" has gotten blown way out of proportion or there's a new level of politics in the PN-G football program.  I realize that I'm going to catch major grief (and smites) for making these comments [b]but you guys just beat around the bush there in mid-county[/b].  Which is it with Arvie - or is there something else that should be recognized regarding his lack of playing time?

    That's what I keep thinking, but time is a ticking!!!!  Thought maybe he didn't want to show all his cards early in preseason, but this is ridiculous...now just hoping for a playoff bid.  Natives are getting restless!!

    Guilty........all of my kids were raised on PNG football and yes we brought them to games that we did not have a sitter available to watch them.  They slept the whole game.  Does that make me a bad parent nah I don't think so.  It doesn't make you a bad parent either for wanting to keep your kids home.  We all are free to raise our kids how we see fit.

    This game is starting to take on a "Rival" atmosphere...but not quiet up there with MCM yet...dont know if its because its Homecoming or maybe that we have a very worthy opponent coming....but if there ever was a rivalry between our 2 teams...Vidors gonna have to change colors...a person can only stomach so much black and gold!

    Oh trust me, Vidor's side will be full as it always is.  Last Friday it was pretty packed as well.  Our tickets never go on sale until the day before an away game.  We have season tickets to all of our home games (so we never have to worry about it) and even when we play at home the general admission tickets do not go on sale until the day before.  Our side will be packed, that is for sure and because of this link the field house has been blown up with calls asking if Vidor's side was sold out already. LOL

    No, you only get the tickets to the home games.  We have been buying them for almost 20 years and it has always been that way.  You can buy the away game tickets at the field house the day before and day of an away game.

    Actually, you guys might be the only team that has that option because pretty much everybody in our district does not sell away game tickets until the day before the game. The other school doesn't even have them in their possession until the Tuesday before normally. No worry here though!!! Tickets wet on sale at 8 this morning and we have ours!!     It is cut throat over here with the tickets...lol...Away games like Livingston are sold out before school even starts. Season tickets are most cherished around here as they get passed down from generation to generation and have been in some family's since the beginning of time. And as the generations get older you would think that more season tickets would become available...not so....Granny will be up in the stands on life support cheering for her Indians!

    I work with my brother and he wonders why we are fanatics, ( i married an Indian, have 2 lil Indians), I have been trying to get him to come to a game, looks like I picked the right, as it will be packed.
