1. Halftime here.  After the first drive (3 and out) with all 3 plays  going in the middle, one would think you need to try an alternate approach.  We can't block, Nederland's strength is in the middle.  Lets run to the outside.  When you run sweeps, you cut back into the conjested middle.  Lets hit the outside. Lets throw quick passes.  Why are we giving the nederland receivers 10 yard cusions?  Why can't we tackle?  MOST importantly, why the heck can't we block ANYONE?  I sware, 'Old School' mentality at it's best being displaed here.  We're getting severely outcoached once again.  It's really painfull to watch.  Nederland, on the other hand an do absolutely anything they want. The only way drives don't go forward for them is on holding calls,  the play after, they always get the first down.  On defense, they are great tacklers and are beasting in the middle. If we don't come out with some fire in our butts, we'll get ran off the field and someone will go to thw pappers and tell them l we were just outmanned'.  Placing the blame on the kids.  I'm out.  Hopefully, we'll get a couple of drives together.  I'm out!
 2. Trust me, that 's not a problem.  I know all the back roads to either get to Twin City or 69.  I just didn't feel like walking far.  ;D
 3. I remember that kid. He was very accurate.  He had a really good reciever.  I think his name was Hare (sp)?  Anyways, he had a good reciever and he found him often and put up huge numbers.  I don't know about the deep ball, though.
 4. So, It's accross Nederland Avenue accross from a Church by Burger Depot?  Comming from 69 on nederland avenue, what side of the road is it?
 5.
Dustin Hood, Nederland.....could hit Ryan Butler in the numbers. Best I have seen.
I was just going to say that.  Hood did have an arm and would always find Butler for the deep ball.
 6. I need a good parking spot!  lol
BMTSoulja1, I have wanted to tell you for a while now, I really respect your views.  I appreciate your fairness and your perspective on the local football scene.  As a Vidor fan, I love playing Central because it is always such a exciting, well played game.  With that said, I wish your Jaguars all the best tonight against Nederland.  Good Luck.
Thanks!  8) same to your Pirates.  If not for Ozen, Vidor would probably be my second favorate team in this district!

See ya after the game. lol
All I have to say, James, is another stroll in the park.  Another year, another game vs. the Bulldogs...  Another W.  We see a dog in the park.  We catch a dog, then we throw them in the pound.  Just you're regular days work.  ;D ;D ;) ;)
Thats the problem with ya Soulja1, you think you are dealing with some cute dogs in a park, you are coming to the pound, where one wonders, "Who let the dogs Out!!!!!" you guys remember the defense of 04 and the outcome of that game, well, get ready for repeat.....Gonna be a long night for the Cougs,,,,,,,,,
Man, you are something else.  That 2004 Jag team that yall put it on was 1-9 for the season.  We didn't score our first points of the season untill week 5, vs. that Nederland team, and it was on a Safety.  That team was pathetic in every aspect.  Do you want to hang  your hat on that?  Ok, go right ahead, James!  You should know better!  ;) ;)

Turning the light out in Vidor is not ideal for some families and friends.
Why not?
Yea!  ??? ???
Yep....Silsbee BC game.  Soulja didnt even list it!  I guess he cant stand the fact that a couple of 3a teams might be able to beat his kitty cats. :D
lol.  ONE down year and the jokes come a rolling left and right.  ;D
 11.
The Best Game tonight will be at the boneyard in Vidor. Its Vidor's homecoming and we are facing our orange county "rivals" lol. But it is our homecoming and we have the best homecoming show in the State of Texas.
He said Game, not Halftime.  ;D ;D  That game will be all Vidor, all day.
 12. My suggestions in order: 1. Friday North Shore vs. West Brood @ Da Butch 2. PA Memorial vs. Channelview @ Stalworth Stadium (Saturday game) 3. Ozen @ Port Neches @ The Rez 4. Central @ Nederland

 15.
He could play some defense to as well as ret.kicks/punts.I believe A&M recruited him as athelete ;)
They did have him as an athlete.  I don't know if he played KR or PR for Livingston, but I do think he played defense some.
 16. I think it's against the rules if you tackle him hard and he does not have the ball.  ;) ;)
 17. I don't know.  You better hope that's not the case.  ;D ;D
 18. I'll have to give another Central team, the 2003 team under Suggs.  Very defensive minded group.  That team was led by 2nd year jr. QB Jordy Matherson (the little big man), Michael Feacher (1,000 yard rusher) and on defense led by DE Anthony Collins (current NFL players for Bengals).  This team led us in the playoffs and went the farthest at that time of any Central team, 3 rounds deep.  Collins amazed us all as he was a 1 year starter and won a lot of first team defensive player of the year.  At 6'5", he was a load.  We barely made the playoffs due to the 2003 Ozen/PN-G drama that year.  The PN-G win put us in the playoffs and we made the most of it.  We ran into a very salty Bay City team, that mirrored us in every way.  Strong running game, salty defense, and suspect passing.  We lost by a score in this game.  It was fun watching those guys get better every game.

Unreal.
Shoot, yall?  He took like a 40 yard scramble that appeared he was sacked in the backfield and he eluded 5 Central defenders, some of which had a hand on him.  He got away and a few seconds later, he was in the end zone for the go ahead score late in the 4th.  I was absolutly sick!

 22.
I know all discussions tend to gravitate to the 4A direction, but I can guarantee you this: Every single time Tremaine Thomas took a snap, or someone threw a pass into the EC secondary, Buc opponents held their breath!
Yes, true!
