Question. How is NS team your surprising team when you don’t have them making the playoffs, but your disappointing team does make it?

In our District, the surprising team has got to be West Brook. They are currently tied for second. They battled BU for 3 quarters. Sure they had a slip up against Atascocita, but before the year started, I expected them to barely climbing in 4th. Disappointing team has got to be Summer Creek. They came into district ranked in the top 25 in the state and realistically was expected to cover one of the top two spots. Then they were upset by King and was beaten by WB and now their BARELY clinging to the 4th spot in district. Then they have a very good coach. This team is definitely falling short of expectations.

About how I’d expect this to go. But I thought King would be on the winning end of this.

Atascocita - 50 West Brook - 36 Final

44-36 Atascocita late in the 4th.

That and BU played some of the 3rd and most of the 4th with bench players. I know at least the last 4 minutes were all bench players. But I see what he was trying to do.

United - 54 Kingwood - 45 Final

BU played a salty NS team. They got after it, but BU’s experience came into play. Withstood ‘Stang’s big push at the end of the second Period. Future games, we need to hit the boards harder and stop the silly turnovers.

North Shore - 58 United - 67 Final

Man. Crosby really took a hit when Haggerty left.

I saw this game. SC lead the whole game and withstood every Atascocita run. I’m not sure if credit should be given to SC defense for slowing ‘Cita down or for their offense for making big plays when they needed to. But I just don’t see how this team lost to CE King. I guess any team can be beaten any day.

This 65pt wins is definitely the highest margin of victory this year. But it’s not for the school history. That would be reserved for last year. We had a 77 pt margin of victory over a team…

A certain coach in this district. ‘Y’all playing the big boys this year. Not gonna be easy.’ BU beats that team by about 20. The same coach. ‘Y’all gotta play us at our place next round of district. Gonna beat y’all there’. See how the needle moves constantly when it comes to BU basketball? The same Coach’s team team just got upset by a team that BARELY won 5 games on the season. Smh. Anyway, on the the next game Saturday.

Whoever is the admin for that particular school, someone on the coaching staff, has the ability to upload the correct schedule and/or make modifications on the go.

Initially, you thought it was a given. BU, SC, ‘Cita, and WB. It might be too early, but I just don’t see any of these teams missing the playoffs…
