Both the '03 and the '08 defense were really good. Probably the '08 defense gets more props because they played more games.... But the '03 defense was more consistant and if I'm not mistaken, pitched 1 more shutouts than the '08 team did....

O-Line for Silsbee looks a whole lot better this week... They sustained those blocks on those stretch run plays...pass blocking could use some help. The RB's did great.. and no one on Ozen's team could do anything with Barnes...Silsbee front 7 played well and tackled great. D-Line got more push this week than they did last week vs. Lumberton. I still haven't seen Silsbee's secondary tested. I'm not liking that they haven't been tested and they go against PN-G and they like to air it out. Hopefully, we'll see them overall get better... With Ozen, you can tell the Defense is a little ahead of the offense. Butbghwy have decent size on both sides of the ball. I think once the QB and receivers get on the same page, they'll be ok.

Cool... Silsbee's secondary wasn't tested well, imo, vs. Lumberton.. it needs to be because PN-G will pass the ball well...and on offense, maybe the big nasties can establish something...

The name of a damn stadium seems to make OTHER people get all in their feelings... At the end of the day, it's the best stadium in SETX, and EVERYONE enjoys playing there AND attending games there...

I guess I've deciphered this correctly... Anywho..... Central has played them for over 10 years... Vidor and Central students get along... There is a mutual respect for each other. I be been following Central football for a long time, and have never heard of any complaining of cut blocking, or chop blocking.... Someone is fabricating the story just to twistvthis into their benefit... But go right ahead... Keep whining, but it's definitely not a a good look and I'm sure this is not a representation of Mustang Football...

Smh... I thought part of coaching a good defense is being able to coach kids how to take on blocks or to avoid blocks.... WO-S prides themselves on defense... I hope the kids and coaching staff isn't as whiney as some of you guys.
