I know one of the top sophomores next year will be PNG's starting quarterback Rashaun Johnson...that boy has some wheels...I'm expecting he is one of the biggest recruits to come out of PNG in a long time 

First of all I would like to congratulate Coach Babin and the Lumberton varsity football team on a great year. Coach Babin, in his first year as head coach took a group of great young men to the playoffs. From what I see all of the players from freshmen to varsity believe in Coach Babin and his coaching staff. The talent that Lumberton has coming up from the freshman and JV groups and the way these young men believe in their coaches this should only be the beginning of what is yet to come.

To all 4 22-5A play-off teams -
 
They say your the underdog !  They say you don't stand much of a chance of winning. They say they are a better district than you! They say they will sweep 22-5A again this year. They say 22-5A is a weak district. Well let them SAY all they want and think what they will. It's time to strap up and see, go into your game KNOWING within yourself that you will not be pushed around, dominated, or bullied. If they happen to win make dang sure they KNOW they had to earned the win and you did not GIVE them anything. If you happen to win make dang sure they KNOW YOU earned the win and they did not give you anything. In the end know you left it all on the field with no regrets. Play hard, play strong and take what is yours if you want it!
Here's to hoping all players are safe and no one gets hurt, on all 8 teams.

I don't know what yall think or expect me to say, but trust and believe we will come to play
Game after game you will know that we're there, 22-5A don't bow down from such a affair
LTrain is now rolling with those Jags and those Dogs, Indians on board to scalp all of yall
Mecca maybe but we not scared, strap up those straps and lets bump heads
Coaches of both Districts get ready with plans, come Thursday night 22-5A will take STAND!
 
 
To all of players of District 22-5A believe in yourself, your teammates, and fight together. You have the right to be their just as much as they believe they do.
Coaches we may be hard on you, but we believe in you just as much. Take what is ours, if you believe your team will believe. I am 22-5A all day and everyday,
and win or lose I am proud of all.
