NS is the real deal. There are no more NS's in D2. The most TO"s we have had in a game prior to that one was 2. We will not turn the ball over like we did against Da Sho. I expect a rebound performance from our boys. The mistakes should be limited in this one.

We'll shut em down. We have historically done pretty well against the run, and I expect this game to be no different. My prediction is: West Brook 38 P Memorial 21

The "experts" are predicting the R3 D2 champion to be determined in the potential Katy/WB game in the third round. I sure hope that comes true!

Man..that's bold...I think there's still a guy walking the streets of Beaumont wearing Beaumont French colors after making the same statement against the Bruins back in '82 (ha)!

That's funny. I like the optimism on that prediction (5A D2), but if West Brook makes it to the semifinals, I'll sit on the opposing side for the Beaumont Bowl games next year and wear Ozen and Central colors. How do you like that?!

We have done historically well this year against the run, with the exception being NS. There is not a team that is going to beat us by the run alone. Memorial's offense is very one dimensional, and if we shut down Bo Snelson, then we should be OK. I think for a team to beat us, once again, they are gonna have to do it through the air, as our secondary is still suspect.

Yes, we will make the playoffs next year as we play in an otherwise weak district. We will be losing 30 SR's to graduation, so next year will be a rebuilding year. We should be OK, though!

I have the Area round playoff game between West Brook and Sterling from 1982. This was the game that was tied 7-7 at the end of regulation, and WB advanced on penetrations. Talk about a defensive battle! It was a great game.

I really love you guys!!! ;D If we make it to the third round, as does Katy (they will have to beat a good Humble team in the second round), then I think we can hang with them. Possibly beat them. I will be there every step of the way to support my Bruins!
