You have seen me the past 6 years at almost all playoff games. The first playoff game I came to since I graduated in 1998 was the year Silsbee lost HJ in OT in Huntsville. I think William Harper had 26 for Silsbee and Donahoe had like 22 for HJ. The last time Silsbee went to state I went to the Bryan Rudder game, WOS, Lufin Hudson, HJ and Madison games.

What about Glendon Alexander for Newiman Smith,  Daniel Ewing Willow Ridge, Darrel Arthur, John Henson North Carolina, and Perry Jones.

I normally come down to Silsbee for one, then the rest are all playoff games. I check them out when they played ColdSprings last year in Baytown and Waco in Hunstville. I listen to a lot when I'm on the road traveling.m

Silsbee had a nice amount of sophomores on their team as well. From what hear, Silsbee has a very strong freshman basketball team coming in and 8th grade.

I think Beaumont West Brook or Jasper has had more NFL players than WOS. Remember WOS use to be 5A as well.

Dobbins also has a very good outside shot. Kid can hustle and is a strong rebounder.

WOS is always a contender and make the playoffs. They didn't make it last year due to a very good HF team. How much does WOS have coming back from a team that didn't make the playoffs?

So if WOs loses to Silsbee in football, gets swept in basketball, and gets smacked in baseball will the WOS consider the season a disappointment?

I think the good people of Silsbee would put together the worlds largest bonfire and party for weeks! Something tells me the entire 6500 people would come out to celebrate!

No Silsbee wouldn't win 20-4A but I bet theynwould compete for a playoff since 4 teams go.

Neither Silsbee or WOS not in the top 10 in state overall. Both have state ranked athletics but there are schools that have ranked football, baseball, and basketball.

WOS will be solid this year, but don't expect them to beat Silsbee.

I know Huffman has a very very good running back and they love to throw the ball. For some reason, I feel we haven't seen the best of Silsbee yet.

WOS is very good but nit the best team they have had overall. I have swan them have better teams in 3A and 4A. They should go undefeated in district and have a 3 or 4 round playoff run.
