If Silsbee plays football 3 or 4 rounds deep, their basketball team could very well lose 2 early games. I think they will fall in line somewhere around 27-4 for the regular season.

This could be a game where Silsbee can let a lot of 2nd string players play. Need to depth going into the playoffs.

I think Silsbee's key to beating WOS is not turning the ball over. If Silsbee can keep WOS on it's heels with a nice balance of Spearman and Reed running the ball along with good passing, Silsbee should be ok. I believe that if you can put together solid drives and play defense Silsbee will win. Silsbee really needs Reed and Spearman to have a big game along with Seth Adams. This is a game where big time players make plays! I will be down for this game!

Most kids who go D1 are the pure cream of the crop. In the state of Texas, I'm more than sure less than twenty 3A or below kids get D1 scholarship. When I say D1 I mean schools like Lamar, PVAMU, SFA etc....If you look at the past 3 years of SETX players of the year D.C. Stallworth (2 years) Shawn Prudhomme last year, neither went D1.

Silsbee has a better offense than any team WOS has faced. WOS has the best defense Silsbee has faced. Something has to give. I think Reed and Salter are very similar QB's.
