Same kid that took a KO against Crosby 102 yards and picked off Green of Ozen at the five and took it 95 yards for a TD.
He's got 4.4 speed and is an incredible DB...gonna miss him next year! Bandndn....you know if he has been looked at by any colleges? [move]Go NDN Nation!!!![/move]
 2. Gotta go with Vidor. If Vidor keeps working on their passing offense, which did great agaist us, they will be better and have more chances in each game. That running offense takes so much time off the clock and if they get down they need a way to score fast. With that said, Vidor will NEVER give up!!! They fight to the bitter end. That is what I love about them and hate about them when we play 'em. Bull Mayes was and is a huge loss for Livingston. Quarterback is fast as lightning but don't know if that will be enough. If Vidors offense stays on the field like I know they are capable of doing, I think they'll take it. Bollinger will probably rest, but I think the other backs can step up.....being an honest injun, need Vidor to win so we can be Div II #1 seed....... Vidor 23 Livingston14 [move] 8)[/move]

Never thought I would see the day that Vidor would have more passing yards than PN-G.
Secondary for Vidor is tuff phatmack19 and the great thing is we have 10 coming back next year.We lose Austin Powell #16 and thats it
Several dropped passes by Chipman and Nelson which is not normal.....Have to say that #8 did all he could against Nelson. On one of the interference calls he actually held him from running because he knew he was burnt....it would have been a touch down for Nelson, as it turned out, I hink we ended up with nothing. So he knew he was beat and grabbed him which all good defensive secondary would do and save 6 ponits for his team. Sometimes a penalty against you gives you a second chance....to me it was a smart play
 4.
Benoit was the backup QB behind Tatum and was going to be the QB in 2009 if Burnett stayed. That's where that comment came from. Talk to kids that were in the program then, they will tell you. Doty was running the option on JV and hurt his knee as a sophomore. No doubt he was a great talent, but that's not the issue. My point is, these coaches know what they are doing and for fans to question them on what a kid has done at the end of games during mop up time is ridiculous.
To be honest...he has played against the starters and never missed a beat.  We haven't seen him just at mop up times. But again, we can discuss this elsewhere.... I'm sure mytwocents doesn't care who runs against them tonight, just that Bollinger is running against us...... ;D
 5.
Wow. Shouldn't all you "coaches" be preparing for a game tonight, instead of getting on a message board? Arvie has done really well at the end of games against defenses that have been beaten down. All Bertrand has done is put himself in the elite of all-time PNG rushers and carried the load for us the past two years. If Arvie was the better back, he would have been starting last year as a junior on Varsity instead of Bertrand. The Arvie love I have seen on here and the PNG site is really puzzling to me. Let's remember, if faircloth wouldn't have came here, Doty would not have played QB his junior year and Miller wouldn't have even been a QB. I think I will trust his judgement instead of all you "internet coaches" who have probably never been to a PNG practice to see what the coaches see. Good Lord.
Brennan was going to be starting QB no matter who was coaching from sophmore on....that much talent, so I don't know where that comment came from. I have talked to a couple of the coaches to get the story and some of the same stuff is said which I can see the potential issues. I think most if not all NDN fans recognize the talent from Bertrand. He is incredibe to watch. But, an example of what could happen with both of them in the back field can be seen in the Crosby films. Crosby was keying on Chase and shutting him down until Arvie came in. That is when Bertrand got his big run. We can save any comments on Fairclothes play calling or decisions for another thread because I think we got away from this one. That is to beat some Pirates!! Good luck :D to both teams!!!
 6.

I have only seen one game live this year since I live in the DFW area (last week vs LCM)...but he sure did look good..granted the game was over by the time he got into the game.  I'm sure there is a reason why he has been used so little....it's just hard as fans to understand.
I am just gonna go THERE...$$$$$$$
C'mon....Can I get your signature on that? Fumbling is not why he is not playing.......Consensus with coaches is that Bertrands the guy and you don't want to take him off the field. I agree with that, but think that Arvie could compliment Bertrand very well. Our offense iset up for one back, but seems like the two up back formation could be run more often. If defense has to focus on two hosses seems like that's a better option.

Much confusion to why he does not play more to take pressure off of Bertrand. Politics I think, which drives me crazy... >:( Arvie can flat out run. And he has tree trunks for legs! If he were at any other school he'd probably be starting and at the top of rushing heap. He rushed for 2600 yards last year on JV. I know its JV but still. Everytime he has gotten the ball this year he has had very good yardage. Just think with both Bertrand and him in the backfield, some of those losses we had could have been wins. I think he will see some action tonight. Vidors D is tough so we will need all the help we can get.
Frodo...Arvie a JR?
Nope...Senior, but he has some brothers coming, one is a sophmore or freshman, that are just as good if not better...actually run the ball a lot...

 10. It does appear that Mays makes a difference. But as they say...."on any given night"....we must focus on the task at hand...stop that #$@ Vidor Offense....If we can't, well let's hope that we can strike quick when needed and just finish with the most points....that always helps..... 8)
 11. Ok...I was at the game last night and saw the play. We were looking at the player after the play because how hard he hit. Everyone around pretty much said the same thing in that we hoped the kid was alright because of the hit. To me it did not seem that long before we saw him move his legs and everyone sighed in relief, I also figured the neck was ok after they took the helmet off. From what I could tell the coaches were looking and making sure he was ok. Instead of having our players in the way Faircloth pulled the kids over to talk to them. We all figured they were being extra careful because of the injury. Had there been no movement from the player, I can assure you our boys would have been just as prayerful as any, including our stands. When LCM started hollering I was pretty much confused on what the issue was. There was no intention of disrespect....
 12. No matter what is said here, I hate playing Vidor. They control the ball very well and play good hard nose football. Turn overs are key. We have to minimize ours and maximize theirs. Defense has to show up at this game for us or we'll have a long night (or short night because running the ball keeps the clock going). Vidors offensive scheme is tough. I think it plays to our defensive weaknesses. With that said, if our line can keep the pressure off Miller I don't think moving the ball will be difficult. We just have to get Vidor in 3rd long situations to drive them away from their strength. And I am not saying Vidor can't pas, but I would rather have them trying to pass than to just wear us out on defense.
SHHHHHHHHHHH ! I am fine with that !  :-X
Same here......no talking, show it on the field....I think we'll suprise alot as we go along....one game at a time...
 14.
and livingston has a bad defense...
Don't know why people are saying this....they seemed pretty good to me...very quick
 15.
LMAO @ NDNWarrior!!!!!  Whoop and hollering on page 8 and quiet as a church mouse since...LOL!!!  Thats why I love coming to this board, always makes me laugh.  That was a good game tonight.  Probably shouldnt have been as close as it was, but its a rivalry and thats what usually happens.  PNG can bounce back.  Reminds me alot like last year.  Good luck to both teams the rest of the way and thanks for making me proud to live in the mid-county community!
Don't know why you would say that...It was another close game that we came up on the short end of the stick. It wasn't like Nederland was running up and down the field on us. But, alas, it is a another in the loss column. Hats off to Nederland front four and Linebackers. They did a great job. As far as Faircloth....well many questionable play calls. Like how many times will you try a shuttle pass to determine that the linebacker is all over it every time! And the 4 and 1, well gutsy call to go for it, which I don't mind, but from the shotgun with that defense? Geezz...Well time to pick ourselves up and focus on the next game which is Ozen. They have been winning so it ain't gonna be easy. Keep the pride going NDN's!!!
 16. My daughter is a LT in the Indianettes and I have to say the officers of the westenaires showed class in goodsportsmanship last night. They brought a purple and white boot with my daughters name on it to put in the yard as a surprise last night. The inidianettes have a surprise for the officers of the westernaiires too. Good fun . Really good girls on each side...God Bless us to have such good kids! Pray that all players remain healthy and good luck tonight!!! Go NDN's!!!
 17. All I can say after watching my Indians play them is to hit Bull, wrap up , and gang tackle him. They did not pass on us at all...didn't have to...so I can't tell you their passing attack. Although the few times they tried, our defensive backs did great coverage, the quarterback will go across the grain running, so who ever has contain, they BETTER stay home. He will get there in a hurry! Again, we shot ourselves in the foot. If they mistake free ball you will have to too or you will probably lose. The Jags could pull it off if they GANG tackle bull. Anyway goodluck tonite!
 18. If Nederland is going off the losses to Crosby and Livingston, well just keep looking at that. You guys will be surprised by what comes at you. I kind of don't mind going in as the underdog here. Fly under the radar and take care of business. Again the Indians will have to  play mistake free ball and not give any points away. Hope everyone comes out of unhurt. Go NDN's.....
 19. Livingston is a very good. They can be beat. We could have beat them, but we didn't play mistake free ball. They did, except for the personal fouls. Don't know what that was all about. I haven't followed Central, but will have to say that they will have to be on the top of they're game. As for as speed, that isn't what killed us this week or the in the previous games. It is called wrapping up and bringing down the runner. If Central can wrap up and hold on then they have a chance. "Bull" is a BIG runner. Jags are going to have to gang tackle. Livingston defense is better than what people think. Probably not the best in the district, but not bad. They have alot of speed. Good Luck Jags!!
 20. do have some things to improve on. Arm tackling will kill us. #20 was tough, but we had him on a couple of his long runs and didn't wrap up. Need to work on that. Also, couple of times Nelson was wide open for TD and ball was over thrown. Two forsure touchdown passes dropped. All in all we looked better. Go Tribe!!!!!
 21. The problem with Bertrand is that when defense keys on you it is hard to run. That iwhy Arvey comes in or Womack. You noticed when he came in it took prssure of Chase and he ran better. Arvey (sp?) Is going to play more and is a great runner. The line did well. Hand it to Crosby their backs are awesome. They'll surprise 19 4 a
 22. Couple of things here.....PNG has played two very good teams that are undefeated so far and looking to be a contender for each of their respectable districts. We have lost those game by a total of 3 points. Do we miss Dunbar....yes. But the guys have not done that bad...Against GP, secondary was actually not good, but they improved. Also, we fully expected GP to run the ball. TC is a good team. They have several D1 prospects. Especially on defense. I don't understand how people can say that we should have walked away with that game. They were big and fast. I was very pleased with our O-line and blowing off the TC's D-line. Bertrand ran hard. People can keep counting us out but the district will be surprised.  :o. Also I want to respond to some whiners from the first game about Amir, how does he look now? Don't be so freaking fickle people....
