Way to support the team. .
Did you call them out in front of everyone?? If not, you're just as guilty.
My Husband and several others around us were shouting back. I always support the team, win or lose. I know everyone has obnoxious fans...but some are overboard crazy..and they seem to love sitting around me.
That is sad if that happened. I didn't go to the game but listened to it online. I would have called them out too....their just kids people.....
2. Not to throw fuel on the Faircloth fire but here we go..... BF's system here is a good one. I like the way he set it up. When you dive into specifics is where I take issue. Defense wins games. We haven't had a good defense since Doty's junior year. That was Burnett's trained kids. WHen you focus mainly on offense and neglect defense things go bad. Our mechanics as tacklers are horrible. If you remember Doty's senior year we won basically by outscroing our opponents. Look at Willis. We even scored 40 something points on Manvel. They just scored more. Also, last year our defense was the same way and they had some good talent on that team. Look I know you have ups and downs, but the team we have now is not this bad. They fail on some basic things, ie wrapping up and gang tackle. Talent assessment has troubled me, too. Some players just seem out of position. Now I am not trained in this but some things are just so glaring you have to wonder. If you remember last year many posters on here talking about a player named Arvie. Many fans did not understand why he didn't play more. He had proven himelf over the years and he did get a little playing time. Bertrand was a stud, I know, but it just seemed that with both on the field the defense couldn't key on just one of them. I know his offense calls for something different, but in highschool you must adjust to the talent you have. Larry Nueman does this well. Again, I am an armchair coach here, but I don't come to this with just guessing, there are those on the inside that are not armchair that wonder the same thing. I have been hearing about AJ since he was in middle school and that he has the size and speed, but just not the coordination yet and was hoping that he would catch up with his body. He was put at quarterback and did not play his junior year except a few plays. To me that is not fair to him if you expect him to be your number one guy as a senior especially with this form of offense. Should have been down on JV getting experience. But then I see him at wide receiver and he seems a natural there. 6'5' receiver with speed is a good thing. Should have been there all along. If I see this, then you would think the professionals would see this. Again, I know we are in a down year but this isn't just about this year. I am still willing to give BF a chance because he has good ideas and maybe he will adjust some of his philosophy on the defense side.
3. :o Ugh  :'( .... We're just not that good.... Ceasar is having his way with us.....
4. If our defense would get back to basics and wrap up!! I mean we make a hit in the back field and then let go....drives me crazy. Also, where is the gang tackling we used to do? ??? I think we have the talent but the tackling is horrible. It has been that way for 4 years now. Sorry blowing off steam.....A J came out of his shell this past week and looked very good. That catch he made was crazy. I think it depends on who tackles better but gotta go with my Indians Indians 22 LC=M  15
5. After seeing Summer Creek and what they can do.....gotta go with them....Maybe Crosby can prove me wrong, but it will take alot to beat that team....
6. Haven't seen Dayton, so can't make a fair assessment, but Summer Creek is crazy good. I always go for the purple and white but man if Dayton is anywhere close to Summer Creek, I would love to see that game....

RAIDERS :)
u are crazyI png-45 lum-0 SINCE THEY CANT SCORE
You would comment about my post!!! I'm sorry that I support my boys!!!
see u at game...might want to come sit on winning side....game will get ugly real fast.
I dont care if I'm sitting on the winning side or not! I support my boys even when they aren't winning. I'm a RAIDER fan no matter what the score is
Keep supporting your guys Raidergirl....they are all in a tough situation, but they go out on the field and show heart....in the end that's all that matters. Goodluck to you guys and I pray that everyone is safe and keeps walking on the field with their heads held high and proud to support there team!!!
8. I'm with you Nation...Walker should start, Keep AJ at wide out and work extra on his hands and routes. If AJ can develop there he will be hard to stop. AJ actually ran hard after catching the ball which gives me hope for him. If he get's rid of the timidness and realize his size, watch out.. And with Walker's accuracy it can be nuthin but good. I would do nothing but throw AJ passes all week...practice, practice....That said...Rose and Medina looked really good..where did Medina come from? He's a senior and looked good...hope he gets some more plays at running back.
9. Vidor ALWAYS plays Nederland tough and could pull out the upset...anyone have a history on Nederland - Vidor?
10. Well, I try to be a humble man....not Summer Creek Humble, but humble....Knew my NDN's were gonna have a long season and will weather it out. Summer Creek is the real deal....that quarterback and running back are awesome!!! And their linebackers are the best I've seen in a long time. Of course 5 freaking turnovers don't help. Not saying we could have won, but 5 turnovers is horrible. I did see some bright points. I think Walker will get better each week. He looked good throwing the ball. AJ actually didn't look bad at receiver, just have to work on his hands. Love his height out there.  Be honest I think we've played some very tough teams in nondistrict and it should only help. SIlsbee, WOS and Summer Creek was a heck of a schedule. Good luck to Summer Creek, but I don't think you guys will need it except to stay healthy....We still have a chance to make it past district...Slim, but ya never know :D [move][glow=red,2,300]Go NDN'S[/glow][/move]
11. Ok, I talked with some friends that have players on the field. These are VERY reliable guys and they said SC was dirty in the 4th quarter. I didn't know a SC kid got kicked out in the 1st quarter. Also, The guy in the red shirt I mentioned earlier was actually cornered by the police after the game. So I guess there were some things that went down.
12. This is tuff!!!! Go Nederland!!! There I said it.... :o ;D
13. I am not trying to contradict anyone here, I was at the game lastnight and I did see some crazy things. #25 for us and #4 for Summer Creek got into it for some reason which sparked some emotions from the fans. Our coaches pulled #25 briefly to calm him down, as well as they should have. I thought #4 was kicked out but he received a hugh pass on there next set of downs, coaches probably did the same on their side. Might of been his dad that was hollering in a red shirt about packing the kids up. I left before the game was over but I didn't see anything that overly concerned me from Summer Creek coaches except him coming out on the field after those two got in a fight, which wasn't that big of a deal. Now it could have got worse, I dunno.....It is 9th grade, but Summer Creek did not look disciplined as far as play execution. They had some athletes though. That #4 and #11 were tall and fast!! There was a lady in a white shirt that was screaming but she was just into the game, nothing bad. Heck, she made some good observations. SHe could have been on the sidelines :o.....Summer Creek was stomping the ground after some of the ref calls, but I think they were just trying to fired up, nothing wrong with that. Again, I might have missed somethings because I left early.
14. Man it's crazy over here at the reservation. Shame for Chipman, I had high hopes for him. He is a big lefty pitcher though and should be successful in baseball. With that said we will see some interesting people at receiver this week...
15. Gonna be tough, but like I said, never count us completely out..... Go PNG! Beat Summers Eve!!! ;D
16. Sloppy game for PNG....WOS defense is stout....did see some glimmers of hope, our O - line did a good job against a very good defnse line, Our defensive line and line backers did well. Gotta work on our secondary, not all bad, but couple of complete breakdowns that allowed a talented group of receivers wide open...PNG quarterback situation, Gotta to run with authority, that did not happen. Receivers have to catch when it IS catchable to them. One for sure touchdown utterly dropped. Offense has to stay on the field more, meaning running the ball. I think we could do that more because we do have size up front. Unfortunately, PNG offense calls for alot of passing. Like I have said, gonna be a tough year, but we'll get through it. It will be interesting to see what FC does at the QB position for this week......All in all just keep working hard and never give up, still think we'll surprise some people....uphill climb (not "the hill") ::)
17.

Just like any other games anything can happen on Friday night and if for some crazy way GCM pulls a win out this board is going to go nuts...so be careful on all the trash talking it might come back and bite you in the butt  ;)
GCM is not quite the underdog you guys think.  GCM takes this one if they want it bad enough.  Nederland is not great, just has a lot of really bad competition over there.  ;)  Looks like the dogs are getting warmed up, by this picture at least.  ;D ] Uploaded with ]
That is the funniest bulldog picture I have seen....laughing my a off, now as far as the competition over here, well if we're lousy what does that say about the hill?
18. Ok...I have been in the AJ fan box for awhile... I think he is a good, possibly great athlete. The offense set up by Faircloth calls for a kid who can make split second decisions. Not that I think Aj can't do it, really has not had alot of playing time. Would have been nice to at least let him play on JV last year to get experience running that offense. As far as Walker, from what I have observed is he is a special kid when it comes to leading on the field. Reminds me of Doty or Long in decisions making skills, not size. Walker came in and picked up the offense very quickly and has shown some really great leadership qualities. He will be a great quarter back now as well as the future. As far as AJ, once he gets those long legs churning it is hard to catch him, I think Faircloth wants to see this combination on the field. With Rose, Chipman and Smith going out for passes, you have a great combination. Faircloth is a good coach, young and still learning.  I mean AJ is 6'5 with speed and Chipman is 6'4 with speed...and Rose, well I think he is our current year play maker....It is going to be a tough year for my NDN's but we'll keep fighting and hopefully surprise some people...As far as WOS, this is a non district game and nobody wants to lose, but this game will help prepare us for district which does matter...If we need to test the waters might as well do it now...
19. Through the grapevine....Walker would play QB....doesn't mean he'll start but may be see both on the field at the same time. I could be all wet ???....AJ was seen taking reps at receiver....Doesn't matter if we can't catch though....
20. Love my Indians, but this one is gonna be rough. Its ok because this is non district. Gotta work the bugs out. Got some big $#@% bugs on offense right now. Heard AJ may be running some receiver....should be interesting. Defense should get a good workout with WO-S. I will pick my Indians because I am faithful to the core, but IF they win it won't be by much, unless some steps up on offense. I think with what we have and the young players, it may take more than 2 games for that. Hope Dillon Hebert is doing better...expect him to play.
21. Ron is still in PN.....works for Signature....does not go by McGill
