[/quote] Way to go Datruth. You have my backing 110%. That is what is happening in Crosby & that is why these coaches are leaving or don't want to coach here.

Who cares. If you put together a group of kids that will give 100% & not be all about me you could have a very productive team. The coaches at Crosby over the last 8 years under Flanigan have been pretty dang good.

I am not bashing any coaches & by the way 1 coach does tutorials not coaches.

[/quote] Actually Red Rocker my son (little johnny) did play & is a starter because he is one of the kids that puts in the work on the field & in the classroom. Not one of the ones that doesn't show up to off season workouts after school, during the summer & maintains his grades even after football is over.

Coug4 you are right the kids have know idea what is going on. I just hope they hire quickly & the right Coach. The workout program they have right now is crap because none of the coaches care. My son told me last night there is about 30 kids working out after school with no direction from coaches. They usually have a workout agenda everyday but this week it has read DO YOUR OWN WORKOUT. So what this shows me is the coaches never really cared anyways and I understand the school board craps on you so you crap on the kids. I also understand it is early in the off season but I know the last 3 years they started the week after they lost in the playoffs with there off season workout program but not this year.

Crosby has been announced I just know a couple. 1st Team OL Jesse Blackburn #78 Sr 2nd Team OL CJ Fontenot #61 Sr I think the twins got 1st Team RB & Newcomer 1st Team DL Clayton Callicutt #46 Sr Don't know about anymore

I agree with you coug4. aaronjm is one of those sophomores that quit because he couldn't handle the workload the coaches put him thru & wanted to do it his way. Well that doesn't work in football it takes 11 at a time to become 1. Crosby has a great sophomore class. A OK junior class & a few good freshmen but a few of them have attitudes. The whole Crosby football team needs to get rid of the attitudes & let's get prepared to work & then maybe we could be in the 3rd round next year & beyond like the remaining teams in SETX.

Aston & Austin haved lived in Crosby for about 10 years

I went to the School board meeting last night & after a few people got up and spoke on Coach Flanigans behalf. The Superintendent stood up to let everybody know that he resigned back in June and didn't give any reason as to why.

As of last night at the Board meeting Coach Flanigan has turned his resignation. About 200 Parents & Students showed up in his behalf to try & talk some sense into the Board members. 1 Grandparent showed up to explain why he needs to resign. I hope the Board listened last night & ask him to rescend. It was a sad day in Crosby last night.

I know everybody speaks of the twins & their 9 yard average in this game but let's not forget about the O-line that helps produce that 9 yard average.  That O-line has been good all year & props to Coach Smith & Coach Keel for the great job they have done.

Crosby JV lost to Dayton 8 - 0 & beat Mont Belvieu 24 - 18. Dayton was the only district blemish

JV has one district loss to Dayton 8 - 0

Crosby's JV is 4 - 4 4-1 in district Lost to Dayton last week 8 -0. North Forest game cancelled earlier in the year.

Should be a good game but I sense alot of doubt from the Dayton posters except Tyrone. After looking at his picture I can't tell if he is scared or surprised about Crosby. It really doesn't matter because after the beatdown friday he will still look the same.
