I personally don't think the team should be punished... Maybe Coach suspended for a few games, something along those lines. I agree most of the kids do not know the rules, But coach does. Did a pinch runner or whatever make an impact on the games probably not... They won the games simple fact they are the better team... Its a dumb rule but still a rule

Rules are rules ... he knew it ... he broke it ... now has to deal with it... your right probably wouldn’t have mattered anyway ...what type of message are you sending the kids ... hey it’s ok to break the rules as long as you don’t get caught .... I just feel bad for the players who have worked hard this season and have been playing great ball

BS and Evadale have excellent ball players no doubt... and they have hit homeruns off quality teams .... but there is a major drop off .... just go look at the scores 18-0 17-0 15-0 etc. very seldom does quality pitching give up that many runs, that often. Field size cant debate never been to any of the fields. But stick those two teams in 4A 5A district and the numbers are cut in half if not more... Now don't get me wrong the above avg players will still get theirs.. but not like it is now.... JS

I've always enjoy baseball playoff. When Trevis was in school and you had real rivals, Silsbee vs WOS , Silsbee vs BC the games were great. Watching all four district teams run into each other in regional quarter finals to see who moved on just great baseball and atmosphere... But not gonna lie this past year in football was very exciting in Silsbee especially since I had a kid on the field. The fans traveled well and really got behind the Tigers. And beating WOS in the rain.. Just exciting times

He's a good dude just proud of his kid like he should be..... KJ is an outstanding athlete baseball and football

The crap taking quit also.. Silsbee vs BC and WOS ... Sure miss our chats with KJ Millers dad... good times and great games.

Sundgren and Partain .. But we have other freshman that will help a lot next year.

I know your son .. We've played with him... like I said not taking away from any of the kids. Most smaller schools have one main pitcher after that its tends to drop off.

Not taking away anything from the young men.... but might be the quality of pitching they are seeing also

Another excellent job by Johnson on the mound.. errors and youth mental toughness showed it’s ugly head tonight.. sometimes your the bug somtimes your the windshield

6-2 Silsbee

Yes to many pass balls , wild pitches ,missed communication. missed played pop ups..

They are a good team .. but defense for Silsbee is really struggling .. to many extra outs ... WAY TO MANY ..only showed 2 errors but it was a lot worse .. I’m a tiger all the way .. but defense has to clean up the mistakes or it will be a long rest of the season

Johnson was on tonight ... fb was live and offspeed was sharp .. defense played extremely well .. clutch hitting

I'm Taking Silsbee 4-1 with Johnson on the mound. If he's anything like he was against Nederland it Shouldn't even be close. Plus Silsbee seems to be getting healthy and couple of kids from basketball
